I did read a short story last night/this morning with 80% black cover. I'm not sure that helps us at all, but happy to add it if it does. No fruits mentioned. 😕



I actually picked it because it isn't a very helpful uno book and we were almost done for the month.

I'm done with both of my books. I'll add them later today from the laptop (so much easier!)

Nine days left? Oh my...hopefully we get nicer cards next month. Great job so far, team!

Melinda, do you read all of the Jane Austen retellings/reimaginings or strictly the originals?

I'm reading it now! It's pretty short. Kind of silly. I think I'll finish today or tomorrow.

Oh, a coastal drive sounds lovely! (I'm driving through Midwest farmland. Des Moines to Northern Wisconsin. It's pretty in summer, but mostly just brown or snow in February.)

I can't listen to audiobooks if I'm city driving in an unfamiliar place, so there will be some pauses for sure. I do have some looong stretches of interstate and highway in between cities on this one. Audiobooks will hopefully preserve my sanity. 🙃

It's kind of a hard book to get into. It's good, but not what I was expecting.

I have an unexpected, long solo drive next weekend. I'm browsing audiobooks. I'll probably pick up 10 of them and in reality, I'll probably need two. 😂

I'm a little concerned about staying alert, so maybe some thrillers? Or comedy?

I added one more that I finished today. It works for two different items. Please feel free to move it as needed. (The quote I used contains the phrase grapefruit seltzer water.) I'm done for today. 😊

Finished The Christmas Orphans Club. It has the author last name starting with F and also a vodka reference. I listed both on the ss, but mentioning it here in case anyone has the author name and wants to claim it. :)

I'm not claiming these until I get through the others I've said I would read. But here are some other (I think) all black text covers that I have here. I could potentially read one of them towards the end of the month, but also just sharing for ideas.

The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store is one of my planned reads. I'll take that one for black text.

I'm reading a book by Becca Freeman, so there's an F author.

I have less than 50 pages left in two of my books and started a started a third because...mini is coming. 😂

I'm getting lots of reading done between Super Bowl commercials. 😂
