500 + pages (29) would you call the tree on the cover a tall object (30)"

as it's all drawings, I'd say no to tall objects

does it fit for any other card? I have Emma in the #29 spot atm. But you also only gave us one reason for that one. Would be great if any of those two books work for an additional card :)

edit. does the book take place in Australia for most of the story? #28 could be also a fit

88432 Not many cards left now :)

#18 - estranged siblings - Nikki said she'd take that one. How's it going with the book? :)

#27 Humor MPG - Laura is reading that one?

#38 - title with H - I'll most likely finish this by tomorrow.

# 64 . natural disaster - Jenny I think?

#68 - first published on the 29th - Kirsten or Jenny?

And we already have one book that isn't being used yet for the bonus round, if we manage to fill all the cards :)

88432 Those are the ones I have found in other spreadsheets for #68

Evolution (Evolution, #1) by Kelly Carrero
On the Edge (The Edge, #1) by Ilona Andrews
News of the World by Paulette Jiles
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer

88432 so it seems that only #68 first published on the 29th isn't being covered? I haven't found a book for that one so far.. will stalk other spreadsheets.

Also, I encourage everyone to check their shelves to see if all their April books are shelved! I'll have a look over everything on Monday

88432 Marie (UK) wrote: "OK what is the bonus round"

Once we finished all cards we can get bonus points by reading 4 books. Those 4 need to fit at least two cards (f.e. #15+#50). And none of those books can be used for the same cards. F.e. Book 1 fits for #13 + #15, Book 2 fits for #60 + #13 - that's not possible as both use the card 13

I'll save that book for the bonus as it fits 2 cards. Laura is reading one for humor MPG at the moment :)

there's no May round. The challenge ends in 4 days. So it only makes sense, for the challenge, to read books that fit the mini challenge

88432 I updated the spreadsheet - here's the list of what's still missing already:

7 - road trip
18 - estranged siblings (Nikki?)
27 - humor MPG
38 - title with H (will let you know by saturday if I can cover it)
60 - WORK in author name
64 - natural disaster
67 - Z in title
68 - first published 29th

We can shuffle around though f.e.
We have a book that fits #27 - but then we'd need one for #56 author's first or last name starts with P

#67 - we'd need a #37 (Haiku in title or text) for that one

#7 - #44 music instrument on cover

(in case this makes it easier for someone)

City for the Lost works for #1 - fun in text.

Any chance that A Darkness Absolute might work for #61 - a twisted or convoluted plot?

88432 I read my book for #8 in one sitting yesterday. I'll start The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, #1) by Douglas Adams today for #45 - set in space

If I have enough time I'll also re-read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling for #38
