88432 I've requested our second and third clue, I will only share one for now though, to get conversation going ;)

ATTENDING NURSE’S STATEMENT
The following statement was taken from Ms. Annette
Jones, duty nurse when the victim was hospitalized for an
angioplasty two weeks before his murder.
“I wasn’t surprised that he’d have heart problems — he
weighed close to 300 lbs., and there was so much stress in that
family. I mean, his three grown children just fought all night like
little kids. The waiting room was next to the nurse’s station and
they got so loud that we couldn’t stand it. We spent the night
doing rounds instead of hanging out at the desk, just coming back
when a patient needed drugs or something. We’ve got a closet
behind the station where we keep all the drugs for surgery and
recovery.”

88432 We got our first clue!

THE HOUSEKEEPER’S STATEMENT
“They all live here together, you know, like a bunch of
inmates at some kind of institution, fighting and swearing…. The
old man’d throw open the door every morning and come down to
the library where he’d take his coffee. Then onto the veranda for
lunch, rain or shine, and he’d sit in the rocker and fall off sleeping
during the afternoons. Supper in the dining room, then off to bed
by nine when he’d lock himself in again.”

Have a look in the spreadsheet. There is a tab called "Feb Mini" and you can have a look which letters we need :) so yes, other main characters count. Or just look at my comment further up where I put down the letters we still need for the mini challenge

Yeah I know, but it was quicker to type it on my phone that way :p
I'd only ask for a clue at a time anyway to make it more interesting to find out :)

88432 A quick update: we only need 23 more books to finish our uno hand. Most important: 2 Reverse cards are left!!!!

For the mini challenge: the "big parts" are done, we only need to finish the spell outs. Letters that are left if I counted right (we can always switch books around):

1 D
3 E
1 F
2 G
3 I
1 L
4 N
2 O
2 R
4 S
2 T
1 V

= 26 books. I'm sure we'll be able to finish everything by the end of the month ;) we still got 1 1/2 weeks

88432 I'll read Faceless Killers for part 4: swedish author.

Has anyone already an idea for MPG mystery, alliterative title or a murder occurs?

I am planning to read an Agatha Christie book this month (if I get to it) so I could also either cover MPG mystery or a murder occurs.

Also look out for that Q that needs covering ;)

88432 I have a favour regarding your book shelves: please only shelf your books in your UNO shelf once READ. It just makes it easier for us to check and compare with the spreadsheet :)

88432 If you guys are looking for new reads - this group I'm in does ARO. So basically you get a book for free and leave a review after you read it :) I'm currently reading one of those. Usually they are quite short, so perfect for the challenge if you need a quick read!

88432 @Thomas it's no problem, I'm not reading a lot atm either. Just make sure you still drop a message every few days, so we know you're still participating ;) and I think it's nice if the team is interacting
