88432 Started Did You Miss Me? (Romantic Suspense, #14; Baltimore, #3) by Karen Rose for Blue 4.

If a character goes to University, is that counted for A Character goes to school for the mini challenge?

Thanks Paulette. Yes, I'm meeting with my travel agent for coffee in the morning to discuss. We booked through her with Qatar so I'm pretty confident with the air fare credit. Booked a few things and paid up front but most of the accommodation I can cancel with no penalty. Might be a bit out of pocket but it's the disappointment of not going.. but health especially of more vulnerable people is much more important.

88432 Thanks Karen. I think this covid 19 virus is doing everyone's head in. I have a UK trip booked for 9 May and I have no idea if I'm going or not yet, but probably not. Boo .

88432 Finished and added Why Mermaids Sing (Sebastian St. Cyr, #3) by C.S. Harris

Are we going to finish the tasks first?

I'm a bit uncertain how we all contribute to the story? Do we just add books and then come up with something then when they are all completed? Or do we contribute a line as we add a book?

88432 I'll take 4. Tagged Adventure. Why Mermaids Sing (Sebastian St. Cyr, #3) by C.S. Harris

88432 Great reading, Amanda.

With every thing that's going on it's never been a better time to stay home and curl up with a book!

I'm sure you'll enjoy it, Karen. There are three in the series so far with No 4 out later on in the year.

88432 Finished and added two more -

Murder at Half Moon Gate (A Wrexford & Sloane Mystery #2) by Andrea Penrose - This is a regency murder mystery series and I really love the two main characters, Lord Wrexford and Mrs Charlotte Sloane. There's a hint of romance as the series moves forward but the atmosphere of Regency London and solving the crimes are the main emphasis.

Skull Screw Up A Halloween Helper's Cozy Mystery by Linnea West - Easy reading paranormal cosy murder mystery.

Karen, I know! Our neck of the woods is Sydney Virus Central it seems. I'm not one to get on the panic band wagon although I do admit to having second thoughts about going over to Macquarie Centre next week.

Great reading everyone.

88432 Finished for Blue 8 Shiver by Karen Robards . And what do you know, it had a sneaky Blue 7 extra character as well.

Gee, we've had our share of first world problems in our neck of the woods lately. Firstly no power for 30 hours (some neighbours were out for a week) and now no cable internet till 16 March. I am using my phone to hotspot. What with all the corora virus stuff going on and people going crazy over stocking up on toilet paper of all things it seems the world is going to hell in a hand basket, LOL.

88432 Finished The Vanished Bride (Brontë Sisters Mystery #1) by Bella Ellis . Shelf and sheet noted.

Karen, I think you'd like this one. The Bronte Sisters solving cosy mysteries. I wasn't sure I would like it (seemed like sacrilege, LOL) but it is lovingly written as an homage to the family lots of subtle references to their books and a decent mystery solved.

That's great Sisa. Those Yellow books with the appropriate letters are tricky to find.

88432 I've read all three of her books. (Jane Harper) . Especially enjoyed The Dry and The Lost Man. Her writing skill is evocatively describing and expanding the landscape that it becomes another character in her tale. Really enjoyable reading.

88432 Oh that's great about Kate's book.

Yes, I suspected there was too much black on mine. Blue 7 is tricky.

88432 I can read this one for a duplicate Blue 7 - Character - Vinnie Daggerwood. Talisman Trouble A Halloween Helper's Cozy Mystery by Linnea West . Is it blue enough?
