A bit slow but intriguing enough for me to read on, plus the next book starts with a V.

88432 So what is everyone favourite dessert?

I'd have to say anything chocolate.. Chocolate mousse, profiteroles au Chocolat and Tiramisu probably top my list. Karen, Crème Brulee is my hub's favourite.

88432 Was that a shadow at the window or a giant cat waiting to pounce on an unsuspecting mouse?

88432 I love the idea of the space desserts. Fits in very nicely with my space smut, LOL. (Reading a saucy novel while indulging in a decadent dessert... heaven!) How did the UNO Pixie come up with such a combination?

88432 Hiya Paulette. Wow, I've heard that hike is really good. I've only done the Milford Sound in a small boat. Beautiful though.

I'm just getting into crime and thrillers. I love Sandra Brown and Karin Slaughter. And currently working my way through Karen Rose.

88432 Jo, we're all the same when we start these challenges. It all seems a bit daunting but after a while you'll get the hang of it. The object is to have fun.. although it does get addictive for some people.. (blush).

Speaking of which... I have another Red 0 book if we need it. The Hawley Book of the Dead by Chrysler Szarlan . But I'll hold off on putting it on the spreadsheet till everyone has had a look at the colour cards.

Do you want me to save mine for next month? I got it from Lane Cove Library and have 3 weeks and then can extend as long as no one else wants it. Always good to have a few yellows up our sleeves.

Edited to say.. I just realised we have Draw Fours - so we can both read it and use it this round.

In May, Karen. I've been wanting to go to Cornwall since I watched the first version of Poldark eons ago. And also a big fan of Doc Martin. Finally getting there this year.

88432 Hi everyone, Lisa checking in.

I am Mum of 3 and grandma of soon to be 5 gorgeous little people. I do admin for our farming business and also am a full time carer for my adult son with autism. So a pretty busy life.

Other than my family, my passions are reading ANYTHING and also planning and going on holidays. This year my big trip is to Cornwall and Wales in the UK, which I'm very excited about.

This is my 5th year playing UNO (in Karen's team, we actually won one year) but it's all for fun . I love finding the tricky colour covers, the mini challenges and chatting in this thread.

88432 Thanks Pixies. Chat tomorrow.

88432 Uno Pixie, the Tracking Spreadsheet link for Vanguard is showing Shortbread's instead. I starting posting and realised something was a bit off. Sorry, the thread isn't opened yet so I thought I'd just pop in here to let you know.

The answer is Group assessment, but if you are unsure, then the captains/co-captains can go to the Captai..."

Thanks JJ. Wow, I'm glad that Tineye has been banished to the naughty corner, LOL. It was seriously weird sometimes.

It usually has to be 50% of the cover.

Mods, are we using Tin Eye this time or by Group assessment?

88432 Wow, you gals are sooooo creative and loving my Team.

I get pretty excited looking for books that match the colour cards. I've already found half of them, better put on the brakes so others in the team can experience the fun. Can't wait to start UNO 2020!
