As you may have noticed, April's cards have been announced and are on our official team spreadsheet. Here are our color cards for the month (so much yellow!)🟦 Blue 4, 🟦Blue 5, 🟦 Blue 6

I need to read A Torch Against the Night next month and it works for Blue 6, so I'm hoping to claim that card.
We also have 5 overload cards (instead of WD4 cards) - for those we have to do 5 different atypical UNO colored covers. Here is what we get to pick from: purple, pink, orange, brown, gray, white, black. I have an orange colored book that I need to return to the library soon, so if nobody wants that one I can do it.
I've found the audiobook for The Levee - I don't think it is available as a print book. But the audio I checked out on Libby is 3:39:24; the rules say an audiobook has to be at least 3 hours so this should work. I'll add that to the spreadsheet.
We need 13 books that haven't been added to spreadsheet yet? I'm good for the two that I have already added to the spreadsheet and don't know that I have time for one more, but it looks like I need to find a short one to add in there as 13 seems like a lot! Maybe an audiobook....Thanks for the update Shaw!
I finished Heartless Hunter and enjoyed it quite a bit Dawn! I've requested the sequel from the library, but it looks like it will be at least six weeks before I can get it....I see you read One Dark Window this month - that is one of my favorites too!
Next up for me is The God of the Woods.
Yes! I think it is already on spreadsheet, so that book can work for a reverse too. 😊
I've finished Onyx Storm. I'm going to start my color card soon, but may also sneak in Heartless Hunter as I need to return it to the library soon.

Also, there's a spell out in there and I didn't know what we could use for that at first, so I did a little digging - here's the answer:
You can use the usual UNO options (author's name (first/last), title, characters' name first/last), place name)
For E you can also use the 8th in series option, but B, A, L are not UNO letters, so for those the series number is not an option.
I haven't checked in this week yet either, I don't think...I'm currently reading a long book, which I'll finish this weekend, then I have the following three planned:
The God of the Woods - green skip
Onyx Storm - reverse with Christene
Daughter of Smoke & Bone - character named Issa (according to goodreads) or reverse with Dawn

I also plan on reading The Handmaid's Tale next month and it works for Red 3, so that could be a second color card for me next month.
Shaw, when I compare the tracking spreadsheet with the official spreadsheet, I think I see about 20 cards we need to fill yet (official spreadsheet) and only 10 that people have signed up to read (tracking spreadsheet). So I'm guessing we need about 10 more books yet? It doesn't look like there's any number that we're particularly deficient in - is that all correct? I'm working on Blacktop Wasteland currently (it's on the spreadsheet), but I should be able to find another shorter book to fit in before the end of the month.
Hello Team- For anyone who needs to make library requests or who just likes to plan, our hands for March have been announced. I found Blacktop Wasteland on a list of "heist" books. I was able to check it out from the library. I'll plan on reading it next.

The book to fit those tasks has to come from one of these shelves or like you said, be part of a series from a book on one of these shelves.
If I was voting just on characters I would have Yoda on the list, but I don't like the prompt of reading a book published before 1977!My votes go to Luke, Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and Jabba the Hut.

I can't believe we're already a week in! I have had a slow start. Last weekend was packed for me and this week at work has been a bit busy, but I plan on finishing my first book within the next 24 hours - it will be one of the blue color cards. Then I'll start reading my red color card book. I should have more time to read next week.
I'm going to remove a couple of the color cards under my name on the spreadsheet - I hadn't meant to claim all of them right away, more to get the discussion started and I want everyone to have a chance to get one that works for them. I'll claim a second card if there's any left after everyone has a chance. :)
