88432 You guys are such an awesome team and are so diligent with your completion posts and updates on the spreadsheet, it really wasn't much of a hassle. So, thank YOU guys for being so on point! :D

Having said that, please feel free to let me know if there is anything you'd want us to change or add or make amends too if it would help everyone and make things easier. This challenge is super fun and very team-oriented, so your suggestions are absolutely and always welcome. :D

I can't wait to crack on with March. We have 16 hands this time - 1 EXTRA! Hehe! :P

It's all good! Fixed it to the 2nd.
Thank you for taking the time and looking through it all, Elisabeth! :)

88432 Quick Update

As we rocket towards the end of our Feb reads here (because you guys are so awesome that you just made a mockery off that challenge, haha), please make sure you take a beat and check that all your reads are added to your UNO shelf, and that the information we have captured on our spreadsheets is accurate.

The "Feb Read" tab on our tracking spreadsheet will have well-laid out details about all our reads, and of course the main challenge sheet will have our actual hands filled out.

We are finishing well before time, so if there are any changes you think that need to be done, please feel free to drop in a comment here.

Also, did I say you guys are awesome?
Because, what a performance!

Oh yeah totally! Thank you for bringing this up, Elisabeth!
If you think you would not be able finish a book in the next 5 days, or maybe as you mentioned it won't be used as well for the remaining cards, absolutely feel free to start on something that can be used for March. Only caveat being you need to finish it after the clock strikes Mar 1 at 9AM GMT!

I would hate for a book to go waste with the challenge. Haha!

Having said that, we still have 5 books to finish, so hopefully the current reads of most of us can fit those slots and we would be ready to move into March.

Only books STARTED after the challenge begins can count.

So, basically any books that you may have started in February but not completed before the end of the month, can carry over. :)

Also, here is the countdown to the end of this month! :)

Both are first books in their respective series.
Also, when you get a chance, gently place this one into your UNO Shelf. Thank you! :D

Books made into movies or TV Series absolutely work. So, you have got some wonderful ones there. :) And Dame Christie is just the gal! :D

88432 I actually sort of figured out your books for the mini, Vicki. We are all good.

Also, the month runs till the end of the month.
Mini challenges normally come in the middle of the month and run parallel with the actual challenge.

Also, all relevant information will always be updated in my first few posts at the very beginning of our group, incase you want to look anything up.

And ofcourse, always feel free to ask. We are all here to help. :)

Take very good care of yourself. I'm sure it'll all turn out fine and you'll be hale and hearty in a jiffy. Rest up. :)

88432 Hey Vicki, all the books that you would have finished after 1AM PST on the 14th would qualify for the mini challenge. Would you be kind enough to check on it and see if they can connect in some way? Thanks! :D

Awh! Sorry the book didn't live up to your expectations. But, thank you for taking one for the team!

I am so glad that you got Daisy Jones & The Six! It truly as an ensemble experience to savor in audio. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Taylor Jenkins Reid is a wonderful author, and I still think The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is one of the finest books to have been released in the last few years.

88432 Danah wrote: "I wasn't planning on using this for the mini challenge, but in Things You Save in a Fire, the main character is under attack by someone whom she suspects and she is trying to defend her loved ones. The attacker was exacting his revenge because her mere presence messed everything up for him.."

Thanks, Danah. This helps.
Ideally any book finished after the 14th can work for the mini challenge, and if we have a connect of some sort, we can totally use it for that.

88432 Laura wrote: "Completion post

Book: The Fork, the Witch, and the Worm: Eragon
Author: Christopher Paolini

Link to mini challenge: kind of difficult as it's a combination of three stories interwoven with Eragon's point of view, but one of them is a tale of revenge; also in Patriot Games the main character hates flying but in this book the main character loves flying (on a dragon, but still)"

I'm a little iffy with the revenge connect - could be construed as being a little too vague? Look at more obvious connects, GoodReads says this is a first in a series (same as Patriot Games), is it true? If so, we can use that. What do you think?
