"yeah I have, it's awful" says Damien a slight smile playing on his lips.

Ever rolls her eyes, she hopes she never has to see him again. Ever means what she said, she'd had enough of boys.

James squeezes Ever's hand and she looks at him, his eyes are desperate, more desperate than they'd ever been before. Ever feels like crying all over again, it is all too much, she never asked for it, for either of them. But a choice had to be made. Ever looks at Brayden, she tries to tell him with her eyes that she wants to believe him, to be WITH him. James can see it in Ever's eyes and he groans in frustration "Ever, for bloody hells sake. I.Love.You. And you KNOW i mean it, don't be like this...not for him, why would you possibly choose him?", James says, he pulls Ever closer.

Kol doesn't waste any time, he puts Jace down onto a chair and runs out to get a doctor in. The doctor comes running in with concern plastered all over his face. Kol tried not to show any worry for Rory but his heart beats painfully inside his chest.

Kol looks lovingly down at Rory and Jace frowns, he says "Is the new baby going to be loud...Kasper says that babies are loud". Kol laughs and tickles his son's tummy, Jace giggles and Kol says "Not as loud as me and mummy J".

Jace catches hold of his mum's hand and and uses his other to bring his dad's hand over both Jace's and Rory's. "Family, Daddy says your strong mum. Dad was frightened that you would die like last time" says Jace in his childish voice. Jace had always been a lot like Kol in the way of his observance, he never missed a thing.

Kol see's the look and taked Rory's hand in his, "The baby wil be alright Ror" he says with a certainty he didn't even know he had. Kol hefts Jace up on his hips and kisses is forehead, "Are you ok mummy?" asks Jace.

Kol nods distractedly, he looks down at Jace who is also wearing an expression of unease and confusion. Kol kneals in front of Jace, relief over Rory being alright makes his head swim, Kol places his hands on his son's shoulders, "Don't worry J, mums alright, and the baby will be alright too, she's the strongest person i know is your mum" Kol says. Kol looks into Jace's eyes and gives him a reasssuring smile, Jace smiles back after a moment and Kol sweeps Jace up into his arms which makes Jace laugh. Kol carries Jace into Rory's room and goes to stand by Rory, Kol says "Bloody hell Ror, stop almost dying whilst im gone would you, i'm starting to take it personally", Kol leans down to kiss Rory.

Ever gasps quietly at Braydens words, more so because she knows it's true, she wants Brayden, she just wishes she knows if he means it, really means it. Ever remembers all the times they'd had sex, how connected they always are, how she wants to hold him close when he gets vulnerable, it feels like a gift. Last night with him and Ever moulded together, not for sex, but just being together made Ever feel more special than she'd ever felt.

Ever can tell Brayden means it, she can't stand the thought of crushing him, not when he's like this, she wants him. But she still can't be sure if this is just him wanting SOMEONE, as in just someone, not HER. Ever wants him to want her, and not because of Kasper or because he thinks thats the easy way. Ever looks at Brayden and aches to touch him, her hand raises but she stops, Ever turns to James when he says "She won't choose you just because your Kas's dad".

Kol drives himself and Jace to the hospital, he drives madly and when he swings into a parking space Kol gets out with Jace. Kol runs up the steps dragging Jace and he asks frantically for his Rory, Jace, as always, seemed to know exactly when not to say anything. Kol finds Rory, they are hooking her up to loads of machines, his head feel like it could fall off, his grips tightens on Jace's hand.

"Or maybe your just an arogant arsehole, I don't go for boys" she says the word boys like it's an insult. She hadn't even been flirting, it is just the way she is. Ever glares at him "I thought there might be mor to you, guess i was wrong, sorry about that" she says and starts to walk away.

Damien moves in front of the light, his tall and dark figure standing over the beautiful girl, "The book, what do you think?" he says, his fire blue eyes regard her.

Ever crosses her arms also "I'll have you know I am incredibly attractive...I don't need to flirt" she says, which is actually true, she figures if he's goin to be an arogant arse then she might as well give it a go. Ever pushes past him.

Damien walks over to the girl, he leans agianst the shop window and says "So, what do you think?", he gestures to the book, Damien arches an eyebrow.

Jace hears the noise and stops playing, he comes running to his mothers aid. Jace touches his mums face and feels panic start to set in, he rushes for the phone, his dad had taught him what to do in case of emergencies. Just then Kol comes back from work, he'd had to stay late, when he see's Rory he takes phone from Jace and calls 999 himself. Jace says "Dad, is mum going to be alright?", Kol feels his heart speed up so fast he's sure it will burst from his chest, "Yeah Jace, it'll be alright as soon as she gets to hospital. Kol is on his knees next to Rory, he doesnt want to move her just in case. Soon the parmedics turn up and burst through the door, Kol yells at them to hurry.

"James I..." Ever doesn't know what to say, he seems so desperate, he really loves her. A part of Ever wants to kiss James, tell him she does love him and carry on like they did before. The only thing, the only person, holding Ever back is standing right next to her, she wants to scream, and Brayden still doesn't say anything, she needs him to say something, do something. James takes Ever's hand and then produces a ring from his pocket, the ring she'd left behind.

Ever looks at James, his temper seems ready to let loose, but James just stares into Ever's face "Say you don't love me Ever", he reaches and touches her face so very gently and the moves to take her hand "Say it". Ever is so conflicted, she can feel Brayden next to her, she can always feel him.

Ever tenses and looks at Brayden, she does't know what for, for him to say something, anything to tip the balance, she returns her gaze to James. James ignores Brayden completely and comes even closer to Ever within touching distance, "For all the reasons you gave for leaving, you didn't say you don't love me" he says.
