"Stand any closer to Ever and that might become reality" snaps James, he'd always been a bit possesive with Ever. Ever sends Brayden a warning glance, she still doesn't know if what they have is really something, she wants it to be, not just for Kasper but for her, for both of them. Nobody makes her feel like Brayden does...but she can rely on James in a way that she doesn't yet know if she can Brayden, "James...I left because i felt pressure, it was all to much for me. Maybe we're just not right for each other...i know that sounds shitty...". James takes a step towards Ever his face sofening slightly, "You didn't say it".

(Yeah, sounds effing smashing, as the poshers say ;)

James flinches at Brayden getting any closer to Ever, his fists clench tighter and he says "Ever, sparks, just come walk with me, I don't understand why you left me, just TALK to me", there is a note of desperation in his words. Ever looks at James and she...she does love James, or at least she was sure she did, but leaving Brayden feels almost impossible.

(yeah skip x we both know where this moment is leading)

Kol pulls Rory closer roughly and pulls on her hair so her lips smash against his.

James looks like he wants to say a lot of things, most of them probably ending with somene getting punched in the face, but he takes one look at Kasper and only says "I want to speak with Ever, now". Kasper shakes his head and whispers in his dad's ear "Don't let him take mummy, daddy".

Ever doesn't pause to think, she runs into the house and calls out for Kasper; Kasper comes running in and shouts "Mummy, Daddy, i didn't know where you were", Kasper looks relieved but also crosses his arms and pouts slightly. Ever smiles despite herself and looks back at Brayden. Ever picks up Kasper, James comes in through the door and Ever has to resist the urge to run and jump out a window. Ever hands Kasper over to Brayden, "Den, take Kas...I need to chat with...with James". Kasper looks back at James and his eyes narrow questioningly, Kasper waves at James "This is my daddy" he says proudly and grips Brayden tighter, Ever gives Brayden a meaningful look.

"Ah, you say it like it's a threat, but to me it just sounds sexy" muses Kol, he smirks and pushes some of Rory's hair behind her ear, his hand grazing her cheek.

Ever clenches her hands into fists, but guesses it's probably best not to speak just yet, she can tell Brayden is letting his hackles rise and James is already seemingly pissed off. James looks between Ever and Brayden, "What the fuck? Ever is my fiance, we've been together for over a year. She loves me" her says, biting out the last few words. James looks ready for a fight and Ever stands up straighter, his words hit her hard.

(Possibly but lets skip a few months so she's more pregnant so it's a bit more of a scare)

Kol smirks and kisses her hard, his teeth bite down on Rory's bottom lip, he pulls back and says "Who says next time i'd let you leave, i'm not above bounding and gagging you know".

Ever jumps at the sound of her name from the doorway, she stands up quickly. James regards Brayden quizzically. James looks just like Ever remembers, he's a senior editor, working just above Ever. They had met at work obviously and things had spiralled from there, James is extremely handsome and he had a rough edge that Ever had always liked, he'd grown up in foster care. Ever looks between the two men, James is the first to speak "My name's James, who the hell are you?".

Ever sits down on the steps and closes her eyes, she leans her head against the wooden railing for the stairs. Ever doesn't know what she wants, but she does know what the real problem is; he said love and Ever snapped, the way she always does when things get too heavy, she did the same with James and others as well. Ever is just thinking about going inside when she hears someone say "Ever, are you alright"; James.

Kol kisses her again, "Yeah i know, but don't worry, i worked with it then and i'll do the same now...and you just love a bit of bad...you'd never have fallen in love with me if i'd been a good princeling boy" he says with a smirk, his hands move down Rory's body to her hips.

Kol cups Rory's face in is hands, "Yeah but im a possessive mental case" he says seriously. Kol kisses Rory hard again, he could do it all day and never get bored once.

Ever's mouth opens in a small 'o', she knows it was a cruel thing to say, but she couldn't help it, he just made her so angry. Ever follows him down the stairs and puts some shoes on at the door. Ever pulls on a jacket walks out of the house, she wants desperately to go to the beach, but it wouldn't be fair on Kasper. Ever stands on the steps leading up to the house breathing hard.

Kol nods but he isn't really listening, "To be fair on you, if i'd seen you in anywhere close to that situation I would have killed him" Kol says to Rory, he kisses her and looks into those beautiful eyes he loves so much.

Ever groans in frustration "I was giving you an out you idiot. I was giving you the chance to make a choice", Ever runs her hands through her hair "And what do you mean before, there was no before, we were never anything" she says. Ever regrets the words almost instantly but she can't take them back.

Kol grins and backs Rory up against the kitchen counter, he moves his hands to the back of her thighs and lifts her up so she is sitting on the counter. Kol looks into Rory's face, for once they are at eye level with each other, "Yeah yeah, she says, she says" Kol says in a sing song voice, "I love you Ror, no amount of fighting could ever change that".

Kol smiles slightly, he leans his forehead on hers, he just wants her, wants Rory forever. It sounds like something people only feel in fairy tales, but this is real, so very real. "Lets juat leave it for now, wait about 4 months when you start to show, he's smart he'll probably pick up on it anyway" says Kol.

Ever frowns and says "What? Kol is just Kol Brayden, he's my best mate thats it. And thats our main problem, for some reason you can't trust me. You say things like...like what you said before but it's a lie, you KNOW it is", Ever shakes her head rapidly and looks up at Brayden.

Kol arches an eyebrow and says "I've been hit by worse", Kol kisses Rory again.
