BTW, Tien. This is probably my favorite challenge. I have been saying for years and years that I have to work on my TBR but this is the only challenge where I've been able to actually do it. :)
I only remember the last two...can you tell us the format of the previous years? Maybe I participated and I don't remember? (LOL!)I think I like the idea of having different ones each year but I don't like the shelf selection to be too constrained like it was last year (having to tie one shelf to the next). I'm flying through this year because I can pretty much select the shelves I like. :)
Here they are, Charity!I've read the first two (5-stars both!) and the third one I must have read at some point because I'm huge Christie fan. :)
Enjoy!
Hi Coralie! Here they are!Haven't read any of them but I looked for books from different genres that have been on your TBR a while. :)
I think I finally will pick up
. There are others that I may read but this one has been calling out to me for a while.
LOL, it seemed to happen that way for me too (where I read the most from the most recent years). This is the first year where my distribution has bee more even. :)
March's update: 33/92 | Read: 26 - DNF: 7Good news: I moved on to the second phrase of my sentence!
Bad news: Lots of DNFs this month (more than double what I had in Jan+Feb combined.) And a bunch of them from 2012...it seems there's a reason 2012 have been languishing on my TBR.
My most interesting shelves this month were:
- Hell
- French Revolution
- Instalove (**snort**)
- Terrorism

VERY interesting shelf! I have a shelf called 'world lit' but I think I like this name better. I may change it!

RPO and Frankestein are two of my favorites. And I love the Humans of NY blog. :)
Dominique (Dom) wrote: "I`m at the 3rd one and I might get the audio for that one too. "The audio for that series is great.

The oldest on your TBR:
Something light to make you laugh:
Next in a series:
or
- you have rated 'Beautiful Darkness' but it's still on your list so I wasn't sure if you've read it or not. If you haven't, pick #2 in the series and if not, pick #3! (When I saw these books on your list, the song came to my head..."16 moons...." I listened to the first book in audio and that song is so haunting!
No worries, Lynn. Thanks!I read the first Harry Dresden years ago and Bea picked #2 for me. I really liked it so now I'm ready to move on with the series. :)
Posted my request 3 days ago but the owner of the Huck Finn property hasn't gotten back to me...https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Tien wrote: "I love your updates, D.G.! I must say that I tried to vary my shelves but they still aren't as interesting as yours! I think I need to look harder lol "Thanks! :) I pretty much pick the book first and then check the first page to see what shelves I can find that describe the book and fit one of the letters I'm missing. My own shelves are pretty much about genres so I'm amazed at the shelves other people use!
February's update: 22/92 | Read: 19 - DNF: 3My most interesting shelves this month were:
- superpowers
- rags to riches
- ex-convicts
I'm trying to pick shelves that describe what the books are about. :)
