Awesome, thanks Dee. I think I'll start Goodnight Tweetheart. I've become really addicted to Twitter in the last few months, hahahaha!
Roll 8 - rolled 1/17 8amP: The Great Gatsby - Book Request
Picked by Dee: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
- 1/22 ★★★★
Landed in The Great Gatsby...can somebody pick 4 books for me? If possible, books with less than 400 pages. (A few of my other picks are really long and I always have problems starting long books.) My shelf includes num of pages so you should be able to see the length of your pick. ;)https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
Hope you're hubby is feeling better, Lyn. You too! The stress and having to help him out recuperate has probably taken a toll. Don't forget to take a few minutes here and there for you. You need it!
Here are 3 picks for you, Julie. :) I've read the first book and cried buckets...the other two are highly rated and look interesting.
Roll 7 - rolled 1/15 7:30amE: Task #6 - Author's name (first OR last) ends with a vowel
by Alyssa Day - 1/17 ★★
Marina - Here are your picks! For some reason, all the books I picked for you have some sort of humor...:)
- Funny but so right at the same time.
- Have read other books by this author and I laughed a lot so I figured this would be the same
- This is probably my second favorite Austen book. Her most lighthearted novel so I don't think it gets all the respect it should, I totally loved how she made fun of the whole Gothic genre!Enjoy and have a wonderful new year!

Roll 6 - rolled 12/31 8amK: Task # 5 - Book added to your tbr in an odd year
- 1/15/16 ★★★½ [Added 2013]
Ok, I'm finally done. :)https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Ended up reading 68 books distributed as follows:
Books Read per Year Added
2010: 6
2011: 7
2012: 15
2013: 22
2014: 18
Next year my focus will be on books from 2011-2013 - quantity before age, LOL!
That's why I didn't pick any books, Julie. I've found that whenever I put books in a list, it's likely I won't get to it.
As I was preparing for this challenge, I decided to see what % of the books in my TBR were added per year. I was shocked to learn I added 68% of them in the years 2011-2013! It seems I used to add books more willy nilly than I do now.Anyhow, I'll work on reading books from all sorts of years but I'll try to focus on 2011-2013. For a few years, I've been focusing on age, but I'll try to work on quantity. :)
Congrats, Dee!I managed to read a few more books so I'll update my list again when I'm done for the year. :)
I confess this is the challenge I'm more excited about. I can't wait for the new year to start, LOL!
Lahni wrote: "I just landed on The Grapes of Wrath and would like 3 books selected please."I'll pick for you, Lahni. BRB!
Sharon wrote: "I have always struggled with Shakespeare, so in light of this I shall endevour to read both "A Midsummers Night Dream " and "Orthello" both of which on my TBR shelf."I struggle with Shakespeare too. I find that if I reading AND listening to the play at the same time works the best for me.

TNOTW is one of my favorites! The other two just looked interesting. ;)
