Yep, it does! At least that book got a look...no matter that it was not the right book at the right time. Getting it off the TBR (after giving it a try) is what counts.

I'm OK on the readathon whenever as I always have books to read from games of groups!

For those of you who DNR'd books and those who didn't but wanted to, I look at it this way ~ at one point you thought you wanted to read a book...and you gave it a try. Whether it was the writing, the story, or just that it's time in your life was not right, that book had a chance. That's all anyone could ask.

Some of mine will do just that Lusie. I know that I will finish more of PnM since I have cross-planned books with other challenges. I have 8 PnM challenges to complete and will aim at finishing up 4. More would be good...but not easy.

Here's my needs:
MM - 5 books
Series - 10 books
Found - 8 books, but 3 in progress right now
Lost (old) - 1 book

So a total of 21 books still to start with 5 of those on hand.

I know that I will finish more of PnM, but I am content that those games may roll over to next year.

I highly recommend Nicola Griffith's Aud Torvingen series. Her command of words allows her to weave a good story with wonderful descriptions of the environment. This is a mystery with romance and LGBTQ mixed in. LOVED The Blue Place.

I will probably try to get a copy of Rubyfruit Jungle by Rita Mae Brown. It has been on my TBR for several years.
