I, too, am still reading library books. I have 5, counting the one I just picked up, with 2 of them in progress. But, you must know by now that I continue games long after they are over...and I am motivated to complete Blind Date since all are books I need for various challenges! As a result, I just put 3 more on hold!

8565 Just got #15 from the library! It opened to give out holds. And, we can put more books on hold going forward! Yay!

8565 I got a call yesterday that my library is opening today and tomorrow curb service for books that are waiting on the hold shelf. (I have one.) It will also have the book drop box open at the same time. Baby steps. My appointment is on Wednesday. (15 minute slots)

8565 Finished Murder for the Halibut for JRI BINGO

8565 OK. I have re-worked my plan. I am still participating at the easy level.

I did make a change to Prompt 3 plan to accommodate one of the books of my original plan for Bingo, which I had started...and, I am using one of my passes.

Really these mini challenges are designed to actually help you read & complete the prompts, not an additional challenge with extra books to read..."

I guess that makes sense. OK...I will re-work my plan and see whether my books will allow me to participate. My problem being that the first 2 prompts were pre-pandemic and relied on library books.

Oh, no. I did not realize that. I thought the books just needed to be eligible for a prompt not be planned for a prompt!

So, since all the books in my Bingo plan are owned books...they would fit that prompt but none were actually planned for it. Was I wrong? If so, I will need to re-work my plan.

To Die But Once
Milk Glass Moon
The Dragon Republic

I hope one of these will work for you. They all called to me and ended up on my TBR.

Thanks, Sassafrass. I have indeed almost got this. It's only the Award-Winners and the Series ones that are holding me up."

Lagullande, you are doing great! I am still working on 6 stages!

8565 Yay! Way to go, Lagullande!

8565 Nice. I am amazed!

Although I did not find that I could add much to this effort, it did spark me to keep going on Choiring Of The Trees, a book I had started in the past but had not finished...a book that I was struggling getting into. Well, I have finished it and have given it 3*. I ended up liking the book after I got more into it.

8565 #9. I have it! Yes!

I will have read exactly half of the Blind Date books after this one. Not bad. I had difficulty talking myself into reading alternatives for what I had planned. 50%. I am satisfied.
