8565 Team B (Hey! Bea is on Team B!) I have books for prompts 2, 3 and 6.

We need a fast reader for prompt 2. Anyone want to tackle the Big Book? Mine is 555 pages and do-able; but I am trying to finish the 973 page Pillars also, so would prefer to read a smaller book.

At present I have started books for prompts 1, 2, and 5, so 3 or 6 would work best for me.

8565 Finished Week 2 allotment. I still have today and tomorrow to make some headway into this week's reading of 190 pages.

8565 Oh, dang! I already have a book overdue and can't renew it due to holds...and I haven't started reading it yet! How did that happen? (The joys of having the library open again.)

8565 Well, family visit intervened. I haven't been motivated to spend alone time with this book, while they were here. Currently I am still on Week 2, so that puts me a week behind.

8565 I'm in. I have finished 1 prompt (#4), but not yet posted.

LOL. Well, my pace is more leisurely because I am reading alone. No need to push to keep from holding others back. However, I must admit to liking this book.

8565 Well, I expect to finish the assignment (212p) for last week today. I am sorry that I am so slow, but my ability to spend time reading has fallen off...concentration...also the size of the book. Oh, well...

I will still be behind at the end of this week...but this coming week is a little smaller...so eventually, I will catch up. LOL

Mine, too. One of those books that "I've been meaning to get to" for a long time!

8565 @Rosemary and Mary, you are both linked.

The Clockmaker's Daughter - I liked this one
The Alienist - I keep hearing about this one
The Soldier's Wife - this looks interesting"

Lusie, thanks for the picks. Although all three have multiple games planned for each, The Soldier's Wife will fulfill the most. So that is my pick. Thanks.

LOL. Nope, just 3 buds going on a trip. One lands in jail and must serve out the sentence, but the other two keep going.

Rachel, think of it as having 3 tokens to move in the game. Each has their own move. One can sit in jail while the others move on.

My own reading has fallen off, so I am only doing one roll at a time. But, feel free to do up to 3.

8565 So far I am enjoying it but I am only about 80 pages in.
