Don't forget that the last day that you can place holds before the new system goes live will be November 7. That day is coming up fast! The hold system is basically going to be on "pause": No new holds can be placed, and no old holds will be coming in. Don't worry: If you are currently on hold for something you will still keep you place on the hold list. The list just won't move until the new system goes live.
From November 7-27, the only way to find a book/movie/CD/magazine will be to simply check the shelves to see if it is available.

You guys might remember that at last month's TAG meeting I mentioned that the library will be getting a new computer system. This system controls the catalog that you use to find books, the library's check out/check in, our ability to place holds, and more. I'll give you guys updates on what's happening with the new system here in this thread.

This month the Teen Book Club is reading
Bloody Jack by L. A. Meyer. The Teen Book Club will be meeting on Wednesday, November 28. If you haven't picked up a copy of the book yet, you can still get a copy from the Children's Desk.
