CASPER
Casper is truly afraid of himself. He has been since he was first turned 5 years ago. It seems as if his predatory side always trump's his basic moral humanity, and he can never control himself from lashing out at anyone anymore. He keeps his old friends and loved ones at a distance because he can't bear to let them see what he has become -- a monster. He took on a job as a nightshift security guard at a local hospital so he could isolate himself to gather his many thoughts.
Not everything is bleak, however. He is slowly grasping and coming to terms with the change. Yes, it's been five years, but everything felt brand new until 2018. Looking into the mirror and seeing fangs gleaming under his bathroom's fluorescent lights don't bother him as much as they used to. He isn't weirded out by the mere rusty smell of human blood. Adjustment is the best thing that's ever happened to him as of late, and he feels like his life may change for the better. As an optimist, he really hopes that is the case.
In Bryce's eyes, there's nothing wrong with the town he was raised in. Years and years of walking around Warwick and he hasn't seen anything to raise any specific red flags. Sure there's whispers and murmurs in the hallway, but that's nothing to be alarmed of, that's just how high school is -- rumors and gossip. Ghost stories don't do much for him, and he is a firm believer that there's no such thing as werewolves, vampires, or really anything that could go bump in the night. And yet, he still gets unknown chills when he walks home from school every afternoon.
As a varsity basketball player with a 1310 on his SATs, Bryce isn't a stranger to having many friends and simultaneously, many enemies. He likes having people around to hype him up, hate him and to talk about him because without them he would just be another teenage boy in a normal high school filled with completely normal, ordinary students.

Nas is not one to open up to someone quickly as everyone else might. He’s had to deal with more trauma then more kids his age because of the powers— the curse — that he never asked for to begin with. He is the first and subsequently most powerful psychic in his family, a power that causes him to hear whispers in the dark and see figures shift through solid objects, but the scariest part of it all is knowing that these visions aren’t just a part of his overactive imagination.
Everyone tells him he has a gift, or a talent and uses him constantly to talk to passed loved ones, find missing pets or valuable objects and other miscellaneous things. And sure, to them it might be “fun” or “cool”, but Nas is truly haunted. He is a beacon for ghosts and spirits to turn to. There has never been a time where Nas could find peace and quiet by himself. And nothing & no one can distract him from the things that only he can see.
