Hey, yeah.. welcome.. Let's all three of us try to actually finish the book now 😂

I read the first 5 chapters, and continued a bit more; I finished chapter 7.

So far I don't have anything to comment on. Maybe Aelin is annoying me a bit, but we shall see.. Also who's Lithaen? I don't remember the name.

So I started it 🎉 and even that's more than the last time we planned this buddy read

Hey team!

I know that most of us are doing our own thing, reading books we have planned as buddy reads (I surely am) or books we just feel like reading at the time. However, we have 2 categories where we need only 2 tasks done each to get the whole category done. It would be nice to finish them to get more points.

* MC is indigenous (I have a BR for it, but on the 21st)
* MC is South Asian (Have a book for it, but sadly no time atm)

* A book with time travel
* Set or published before 1880

* The meeting with Catalina was cringy.
* Oh. wow... the priest is one of the rebels? Did NOT expect that one.
*😑😑😑😑😑 One of the things I hate are early "I love you"s
If they even knew each other I may.. kinda be okay with them saying I love you to each other, but it's been 6 weeks, and they know very little of each other so... gaaah
* Working on Ximena's and Catalina's relationship was exquisite, only took what, half a page?

I finished and... well disappointment.

😂 that's my thinking. Finish all other and then have time to enjoy this one.. the question is when will it happen again that I don't have many BRs happening at the same time.. I mean you saw my plan for November so 😂

I looked up the second book yesterday, and it follows the real Condesa.. not that I care about it..

yes, the weaving is the only interesting thing, and that we have a bit of character development on her part. As for the animals.. they can but also she needs to think of it or something? There was the part when she fell asleep weaving and when she was woken up by the maid she looked for the animals and they were in the process of hiding.

I kinda put this book on low priority because we are reading it over the course of the whole month. But since I mostly finished my 1st week BRs I have more time so I read this today and finished the first book.

What do you think about Gabriel being a frailblood? I mean great stories are made from people that are just plain and simple, but also there has to be something special about him because from all the brothers from the Silver Order he's the only one that survived.

Okay, Ximena's moon weaving turned cool.. but also what the hell is she going to do with all the animals in her room? And can only she see them or can others too? if everyone can see them it's even stupider to make so many of them in her room.

Oh gosh... I'm going to be sick.

Ximena is probably 15-17 years old.. and the Atoc is 30 and probably older... and his first wife was half of his age...

Also, what do you think when this takes place? They have journalist which sounds modern world like.. but the king listens to his people's complains which is something that seems older.
