Yeah no problem 😊
749599 JUNE nominations will be open from today, May 1st, until May 20th. On May 21st a poll will be waiting for you with all the nominations that we gathered, the most voted book will be our JUNE Group Read.

PLEASE keep in mind that in 2025 we are nominating Mystery, Suspense/Thriller, and Science fiction books only. If the book you want to nominate doesn't fall into those three genres you can still nominate it in the buddy read thread later in the month when the thread is made.

You can nominate as many books as you'd like. Just include the title/author or a link to the book by using the "add book/author" tool. If there is a nominated book that you'd like to read, simply state that you also vote for that book. Series can be nominated if we have already read the first book or you are nominating the first book. Please make sure we have not read the book you want to nominate. You can check on this thread to see what books we have read so far.

749599 I'm making slow progress on the book, but it's progress. I finished chapter 27.

It's nice that Nesta is finally more open, and I like that her potential friends joined her training.

749599 Anyone can nominate as many books as you'd like and look for a buddy! Any book that gets two nominations or more will have a buddy thread created for discussion during May. Please decide your start date and reading pace/reading goals in this thread. Once that has been decided, the mods will create a Buddy Read Discussion thread for that title. Reading the Buddy Read Guidelines is strongly recommended. There is no promise that you will have a buddy read for your nomination(s).

749599 I still have half of it to read. I finished yesterday Ego, but I hadn't had time to read today before work.

I agree the dialogues can be too much, I noticed that some dialogues feel like fillers and that they have no point, just because. I don't mind much the academic part of it, it can be interesting but it doesn't interest me that much.

I'll try and finish it soon. I don't know what needs to happen for me to be intrigued to start the 3rd book considering how I'm feeling about this one, and maybe the first one when I think of it. It had an okish story and the thing about Libby pulled me to read the 2nd book. We'll see.

749599 Finished Duality. If nothing else I like how things and characters are connecting. And with that the Dalton case is more interesting, honestly the only interesting thing in this book for me.

749599 Sarah-Vanessa wrote: "@mina yes the Dalton part also is interesting. Overall I agree with you. I find the book quite interesting I just wish the pace would be a bit quicker… It takes along time and a lot of dialogue for..."

I'm finishing this one for sure, but I'm not sure if I'll pick up the next one. I'm slowly getting back to reading and I don't want to get caught in reading something just to finish it and then have no will to read anything else.
749599 Sarah-Vanessa wrote: "I‘m so sorry I somehow timed this read for today and now I‘m behind. I‘ll try to catch up with you as quick as possible."

Hey, no worries and no hurry.. Yes, you made the schedule starting today, but because Brianna already started I put it on the first. There is a schedule but.. chances are we are not following it so all is good.
749599 I caught up to you, finished chapter 7. I don't have anything to add, so far I don't find it a big problem that I don't remember what happened in the previous books since it has been a few years since I read them.

Since I kinda want to discuss, or at least have the possibility if I have something to comment, @Brianna are you planning on first reading and finishing CoSF and then starting KoA?
Apr 03, 2025 11:58AM

749599 Finished the Entropy part. I agree that Libby's chapter's are interesting, especially that Ezra hid her in the past. I'm also intrigued by the Dalton that lives in Dalton's head; I guess he's all-powerful with his gift and because of that Atlas, or maybe someone else but with Atlas, has done something to him. I really hope that the book get's more interesting because if not I may not even pick the third part, I'm not gonna read something that feels like a chore.

Mostly used your schedule, I just stretched out the last reading day a bit.

749599 @Sarah-Vanessa
No worries, I'm not finishing it in March either. Considering that only us two are discussing the book we can just talk about it as we go. But I would like to finish this one and the next in April, to just be done with it.
