Finished the book this morning. So... disappointed comes to mind. I guess I expected something cutesy and fun when I decided to pick it up, and I don't mind that it wasn't that.

Reading about friendships, struggles, life, is something I also like, however I think that the friendship and their individual problems, that could've been so much better to follow, were overshadowed by the Harry/Wyn thing going on... Which just started annoying me half way through because it was taking too long, and too much of the book.

Finally really started the book, and I only listened to the first two chapters. I went in not even knowing what the synopsis of the book said, and I also hadn't read any of your comments... so now I'm surprised the sun is dying, and that we (well, I because I'm way behind) have aliens.

I've only read The Martian by this author, and don't really remember it. But I think that all the science went over my head.. which I don't expect to be any different here.

I'm about to start chapter 29 and I agree, this isn't as good as her other books I've read. The lack of communication between Harry and Wyn is just making me roll my eyes. Just freaking TALK.

I started it today so I'm "behind" a lot but since it's contemporary I think I'll read a good bit of it because it's easy flowing. I read all of the comments above so now I'm intrigued about the secrets the rest are keeping, because they all seem like everything is perfect in their lives.

I like the past chapters, they are a fun group and it's feels nice to read about those younger characters.

I don't mind if you change the dates, do what works for you. Just maybe post your thoughts about the chapters/characters as you read, because, speaking from experience, if you wait for someone else to get to some part or finish, you'll forget some of the things you wanted to discuss.

🙈 I started it, planning on reading only the first two chapters...and I ended up reading 11, and I can't say I'm done for today because I want to continue it when I get home from work...if I don't get home late that is 🤞

It really is easy to read, and I got pulled into the story.
