73248 "So you were raised correctly, then?" Sabrina asked with a corked brow and hands to her hips. She shut her eyes and let out a sort of huff. "I will accept your apology and ask you not bother with speaking of your little boldness to anyone." She reopened her eyes to look upon the girl. "Seems you already have been put in your place. No need to have men beat our gender any more than they have especially when the reason has been taken care of already." She hoped her mercy wouldnt suggest anything off of her royal-ship, but Sabrina wasn't exactly wishing for the girl to get beat from something that the girl had been correct to question.

73248 "Well my, my," Sabrina started in a mocking tone as she tapped her finger to her chin. "Someone is bold." Sabrina had learned to act a part perfectly and knew how any other true lady of high quality that thought far to highly of herself would act. "Bold is not something that was taught to you, I am sure."

It was slightly shocking to Sabrina that this simple maid had not believed her. Was something off in her story? It fit perfectly. But the girl claimed to have seen everyone when they arrived. "May I ask your name? I'm sure it shall get mentioned later when I join those I came with as well as the company they came to see." The treat was hopefully enough to get the girl off her back.

Sabrina had no intentions of giving her name or what her goal was. A very hefty bounty was over her head--well "Fox's" head. But, her all the same. Death would be in her future or at less a lifetime in a cell.

73248 "Ah, I must have failed to convey my solution that should have been blandly obvious, and for that I apologize," Braylin said sarcastically with a half cocked grin rising to his lips. "The only true solution would be--"

Max pushed his chair back quickly, causing a loud screech, his eyes falling on Braylin and knowledge of his next words. "Perhaps both you and I were correct yesterday when we came to the conclusion it would better you keep guard out in the hall," Max said sternly to Braylin.

A smile kept hold of Braylin and he nodded to his friend. "As you wish, my lord." He left the room, leaving the others to toy their time away on pointless solutions when the only clear one would be replacing the king with his son. The king had to step down for there to be any chance of better this world.

Max cleared his throat and slowly took his chair. "I apologize. Now, you speak of the war upcoming and how we need to unite. I must ask, if we all unite, then there would be no war seeing as it is all of us that would be going against one another. Personally, I do not wish to wager a war. Peace for my people is one of my desires. I suspect the rest true for you."

"Of course," Asher agreed. "Which brings me to my question, what are the reasons for war? Once we get them on the table, we can try and solve each one individually."

73248 "Oh, yes dear girl," Sabrina chimed in a happy voice that sounded fully sincere. "I do believe I became quite lost in my efforts to find the one I came with," she continued. "Perhaps his name is known to you?" Sabrina knew plenty of who all had arrived in the kingdom the night before. She knew each face, each secret, and each detail needed. From the city of Sorrel is where Sabrina planned to claim to be from. Her hair matched their color and her looks seemed fitting as well. Plus, one of the men that had arrived from the dark city was indeed single. "The Lord of Sorrel's right hand, Braylin Wes. I had told me he was to be waiting outside of the courtroom considering his likelihood of lashing out what due to his temper and all." Sabrina flicked a strain of hair over her shoulder as she spoke on with a smile stretched over her lips. "He requested me come to him, but seems I have become mixed up in this large place. Perhaps you could fetch him for me?" She figured within the time the maid went to the court room and discovered Sabrina's lie, Sabrina would have her prize and be well on her well out of there. "I would go to find him, but I must admit, I am quite weary from all the searching i have already endured."

73248 Sabrina knew as soon as eyes laid upon her, she had been taught to notice such things. She had managed a glance at her onlooker from the corner of her eyes without the girl noticing that she saw her. It didn't trouble Sabrina any though since the girl was simply a maid from the looks. Sabrina was graceful on her feet as she went up a few steps. She walked down a long hall and took a few turns before she came into eyesight of the door that would lead her closer to the treasure she sought out.

73248 Before Max or Asher had the chance to interject their opinions, Braylin was quick to take his steps forward and state his opinion, a bit of harshness to his voice. "True, we are all flawed and we all have our good aspects, but those that lead--especially a king--are expected to have the least of flaws of us all. As we are all well aware, the king we bow to has been on his downfall. Alcohol taints his breath most of the nights and days, whores leave his chambers at late hours, and he thinks of himself rather than his people. The king has become selfish and is incapable of running this kingdom in his current state."

Max shot Braylin a glare during his words, but did not cut him short. It would be better off just to let him finish before trying to settle the situation that Braylin probably just created.

Asher didn't exactly have a rebuttal seeing as he believed in the words Braylin said. But he also didn't wish to say he agreed and provoke the rebelling against his father.

"Care to disagree as you will to keep from spitting on the king's name. But, the truth is still known in each of our minds," Braylin finished with. "Personally, I believe his son would be more of a king that him." Braylin's eyes fell to Asher for a moment.

73248 "To be frank, we tiptoe far to much around the drastic matter," Asher finally admitted to the council. He leaned forward a bit in his chair, eyes going to each one of the lords and other men in the room, hovering for a few moments on those that gave him a bad vibe. "War has been on the brink for the past three years and is continually inching closer to breaking loss within each of our homes and the fields of our lands. Treason has been quite popular among one or more in this room and I would like for reasons on why this war is getting closer and what reasoning could bring on such a crime is treason to be given and discussed. Do not be coy with speaking of either. I, nor will anyone else, assume that those who mention reasons plausible for treason or war are responsible directly for either. I invite each of you to speak freely without consequences."

Braylin had managed to refrain any foul comment he had or witty reasoning and stayed his distance from the table in general. Such a plays with such people wasn't proper for him if he was to keep from going insane at ties of his tongue.

Maximus looked to the other faces of the men and then back to the prince. He shook his head and spoke in all seriousness. "I mean no disrespect, my prince, but almost all reasoning can be pointed at your father." Bold to say the least, but true. And if anyone were going to say it, might as well be Max. He had no plot to overthrow the crown yet and had no intentions of it. Hell, he barely had the desire to be even a Lord of Sorrel, much less a king of all the lands. Considering he had only been a lord for a year, he figured he was safe from the treasons mentioned.

73248 Echo could be walking on the path with her when she falls and can't get to her until the dragon comes out and eventually they get to the same level. Ya know? :). It's just an idea though ^_^

Of course you can have someone run into Sabrina :). You don't really have to ask... The funnest part about an RP is the random things that come up ;). You can make it a royal, maid, guy or girl, etc. I don't care what :).

73248 I liked the second one as well, but the only down side would be that he wouldn't be there when she was born. But that's not a huge issue. So, I'll probably play with that one. West could hear legends about it or something or maybe he can come across the mysterious shadow trainer that taught Braylin. Incase it wasn't evident, the trainer was sorta just brought up by like destiny to train Braylin. Lol. The shadow trainer could tell West that he needed to go get the egg and bring it to Sorrel but not tell him why because the trainer didn't believe Braylin was ready to know yet? Idk. Just throwing out ideas ^_^

Well, you could always have something like this happen:

arcadia was walking along an icy path of a mountain side that maybe lead from the north city to the rest of the world and the path breaks under her feet and she slips off the edge of the straight plummet down. The wall is made of just silk ice and nothing to grab. But as fate would have it, 30 feet down was a very small ledge that she lands on. She isn't hurt to bad. She looks up to see there's a thin layer of ice blocking an entrance to a cave in the side of the mountain.

Next either she could break through it and find her egg OR her dragon could have been born awhile back when something else had happened and just asleep at full size waiting to have reason to leave and when she falls he wakes up and busts out of the ice blocking the cave (freaking her out of course). Lol

73248 Sounds mostly good. But, I don't intend on Braylin figuring out he's a dragon master until he comes across the egg when it hatches or when the dragon itself finds him. I either planned on the egg hatching when he comes across it

Or

Something horrible happening that brings on Braylin's temper as well as his leadership role and courage and what not that results in the hatching of his dragon. The baby dragon then quickly starts to rush off to find her master. But Sabrina and whoever is with Vortex (the dragon) help the baby find Braylin and in the process of hunting for him (but they don't know who he is, just following Vortex) Vortex grows a lot. But (like in Argon (at least the movie not sure about the book)) Vortex grows to full size like "BAM" in one second which would be triggered by Braylin needing her help. She then rushs to help him and saves him just in time.

I'll come up with something. Gives me a sec :). Whats the north city like?

73248 ((missed talking to you! So im glad you're talkative. I agree with the meeting part. Also, I was hoping Lawerson would bust in at some point lol. Make it a mess and him and Asher have an obvious conflict arise. We can wait for you to make the other Lord before we continue))

73248 You can make any character you want to join in Sabrina's theft lol. It can be a random or a thief or anyone that would run into her. I actually have her in the castle right now, but I'm not sure if I'll let her be successful just yet. I think I will and then have her carry the egg with her only to find that others are after it and everything seems to be turned against the protection of the egg. So, she has to keep it safe and at some point realizes what it was/is. Maybe even at some point sabrina and whoever else is with her will cross paths with your dragon master and echo and those two know what it is and all of them start to hunt down the owner of the egg?

I'll make more characters to spread out other places when they are needed since we don't have many.

73248 I changed his last name :). Sorry for that mix up :/. Glad you liked them otherwise :).

Yeah, I focused on the stronger attributes for my dragon master like leadership, courage, etc. And...well, I kinda went a bit all out-ish to make him. But I'll add more to the history probably later. Idk, I felt I needed to make him fit the part fantastically, ya know? Lol

Oh! Here was my idea. Sabrina (thief I made) is going to steal something that was found deep in Sorrel forest 23 years ago. That thing is the egg of a dragon. Its been bedazzled with jewels and locked away in the castle. It was created in the universe when Braylin had been conceived since it is the dragon that will belong to him. The egg is going to be darker in color though due to the darker vibe of Sorrel. Sound good thus far?

73248 "Shall we start? After all you have been waiting quite long enough," Asher said as he took his seat, the lords of the land following his actions.

Max took his seat and Braylin stepped a small bit further back. He knew better than to be to involved if he wished to not let his temper lash out.

"Introduce our first order if you would, Arthur?" Asher said, not purely sure what the top of the list had been. But, he knew the main points. Just not the first one needed to be brought up.

73248 ((ah okay))

Asher took stood before the chair at the front head of the table and waited for everyone to go to their chairs.

Max went to the reserved seat for Sorrel's Lord and took in a deep breath. Braylin remained a few strides behind Max.

73248 Sabrina surveyed the front lines of the castle. The way the walls held so strong with their gray bricks and rare green vines snaked from window in and cracks on the structure. There was an easy access point on the second level, an unguarded window just a few feet higher than a near limb. It would be easy to get in. With more stealth than most humans had now days, Sabrina snuck through the gardens, hidden to everyone. She quickly climbed the tree and leaped into the window. No one was in the room and it gave her full access to the rest of the castle. Sabrina pulled the bag off her shoulder and retried the elegant deep blue silk gown she managed to squeeze into the bag.

She slipped it on as well as the shoes that put her two inches higher. Sabrina had full intel of the meeting of the lords and knew most guards would be focused on their safety, not a master thief. So, she choose this day to make her steal of a royal treasure that had been taken from Sorrel 23 years ago when it was first found. It was supposedly one of the most valued things of the land, but she'd be the judge of that.

73248 "Where you always sit, Arthur," Asher told him with a brotherly pat on the back of his shoulder as he lead him towards their normal chairs. "Right by my side as you normal are of my father."

((round table or long rectangular one?))

Max slowly started to walk to the table followed by Braylin who lagged a few steps.
