73030 I just picked up velvet, I quite liked it.

73030 I'm enjoying Rocket Girl, I only picked it up because the art was pretty but it drew me in pretty quickly.

I finally got around to reading the first couple of the Killjoys and I love it, it's a good story but I think knowing the last MCR album helps add to my enjoyment.

I have laughed loads at the first two issues of Rat Queens, it is right up my alley, all sex and booze and strong women in a fantasy setting. I'm loving it.

I was blown away by Pretty Deadly and Sex Criminals, I didn't think comics could be this good and not be all about capes and doing the right thing.

73030 My current pull list stands at:

Saga
Avengers Arena
Katana
Batgirl
Powerpuff Girls
Rocket Girl
Rat Queens
Pretty Deadly
Death Sentence
Sex Criminals
Lazarus
The True Life of the Fabulous Killjoys

I think that's everything.

73030 If you are wanting to keep it strictly US I'd be up for doing a European version if there's interest for it.

73030 I have just started Bully and Alan Wake. Bully was £3 on Xbox live so I thought I'd see what it was like. I'm quite liking it so far.

73030 I play it a chapter at a time with some small breaks because the tension can be too much. I am loving it so far though.

73030 Yeah it is very scary! I keep having to take breaks from it to calm down.

73030 Has anyone played Alan Wake?
Pacific Rim (12 new)

73030 I haven't seen the film but I listened to a really interesting interview with Guillermo Del Toro where he said that he had written 400 pages of backstory and had researched all the different real life implications of something like that happening. He also said he's love to dive back into that world because there is so much more to tell there. I'm more interested in the back story and how the world's population survives day to day.
73030 I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I'm desperate to get volume 2. I really wish I had found this as a teen so I could have been a comic convert a lot sooner.
Doctor Who (147 new)

73030 He isn't the first Scottish doctor but I hope they will actually let him use his real accent or I'll be pissed. He was my number three choice for the role but I don't think many people outside the UK will really get it. The man is a legend and knowing that we wouldn't get a female doctor while Steven Misogynist Moffat runs the show going in the direction of an older doctor again was the right thing to do.

73030 How is everyone feeling about the 12th doctor?
73030 What sort of turnover are you looking for this! I'm currently reading a nonfic to review for a newspaper but I'd be happy to give this one a go after.

73030 That's crazy Anna (although I did only just read it *guilty face*)

73030 I vote for The Runaways! Excellent comic.

73030 I just finished this one. It was even better than I expected.

73030 My translation was by Natasha Randall and I remember it being quite good. I really should reread it but there are to many other books to get to.
