devastating, blow after blow. will be reading the next one immediately.
2. A Faint Cold Fear (464) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
probs my least fav in the series so far, but still a decent and engaging read. literally did not expect that first chapter and poor tessa, however the storyline with lena and ethan was just pure depressing. side note, i'm even more convinced after this book that sara and her ex-huband (don't remember his name) just aren't meant for them.

god this was so so so good, slow start but the ending more than made up for it. god i love eland and his stupid chivalry - giggling and kicking me feet lol.

god i loved this book, i cried and it was just an intense, fast-paced read.

this book confused me, i have no clue how to feel about it, what to take away from it, or what the intent of this book even was. don't get me wrong, i enjoyed it - but i also felt very meh about it idk.

i can see why some people love this, but i much preferred foster by the same author.

i feel like i need 5-7 business days to process this book. it had a slow start, and i wasn't entirely in the mood to read it when i first picked it up, but it got so much better as the story went on. very character driven as opposed to plot driven, and i loved the ending. very glad i picked this one up!
