51477 I finished Deep Down (Lockhart Brothers, #1) by Brenda Rothert and it was a bit of a letdown. I'm on the blog tour so I have to come up with a positive review, but it's going to be a challenge.

Can't decide what to read next, but Blurred Lines by Jennifer K. Brand , Bad Romeo (Starcrossed, #1) by Leisa Rayven , The Mistake (Off-Campus, #2) by Elle Kennedy , Chaos Umpire Sits (They Who Fell Series Book #2) by Kevin Kneupper , and a bunch that you're all going on an on about are on my list of possibles! Oh, and of course End of Days (Penryn and the End of Days, #3) by Susan Ee !!

Yeah, I mean this one sounded really good so I'm not giving up hope. LOL Sometimes my standards are lower because I'm just looking for a fluff read, too. ;-)

51477 @Laura

How sad is it that I've read The Faerie Guardian (Creepy Hollow, #1) by Rachel Morgan but didn't realize it until I saw my review, and it still doesn't ring a bell! I gave it 4 stars, you'd think something would stand out. =/

I've been wanting to read The 5th Wave forever, it looks like a solid dystopian. Glad you loved Monstrumologist (that's a mouthful!), adding to the TBR!

51477 May madness has set in, so things are crazy and I don't have as much reading time. But I saw an advertisement on Facebook saying that They Who Fell (They Who Fell, #1) by Kevin Kneupper was the next Twilight, so I grabbed it up and dove in last week. Yeah, not so much. It's intriguing and I loved the super creepy Angelfall-type vibe, for sure, but the love story aspect is too flat. There's just no chemistry because the main characters are so one-dimensional and have so little actual time together, and it's a shame because it could have been one of those epic stories that we all read over and over. There's a huge cliffie so I'm going to read the sequel, but I'm not hoping for much.

I also finished Fair Game (The Rules, #1) by Monica Murphy for review and really enjoyed it! I often compare her books to her One Week Girlfriend, which I adored, and this one wasn't AS good, but it's still a definite add for the TBR.

And now I get to dive into Before You (You & Me, #0.5) by Annie Brewer by our Annie!!! <3

I hate it when they throw in cursing just because. I don't mind it at all if it's a realistic occasional toss in (or strategically used during scenes with a great leading hottie), but no one says f*ck, aloud or in their heads, every other sentence!

51477 I'm on another book high... Aflame (Fall Away, #4) by Penelope Douglas was such the perfect ending to this awesome series, I devoured that book today and loved every second! Jared...oh how I love you, you rude and foul-mouthed arse! LOL

Time to catch up on review writing now, but I started Defiance (Defiance #1) by C.J. Redwine and I'm liking it so far. Probably shouldn't look at the comments on here for everyone reading the third book right now, though! =)
