late last night and wow. Just wow. It was unbelievably good. I was worried the sequel would never live up to how great King was, but I was so very wrong. Belkis..."Lol scratch my last post to you then, very glad to hear it lives up to the first!! Definitely starting King this week then!

I finished a few that have been on my "currently reading" list forever this week.
was actually a little disappointing, I just couldn't get past how awful Cora was and what a push-over Zoey was. I had skipped this and read Ten first, which was awesome because Oren is just the bomb, but this drove me batty.
Last night I flew through
, another great one by Zolendz and I'm looking forward to the sequel when I can get to it!

I have now started
I'm actually not liking this one yet as I'm not a fan..."I liked Edge of Never but it didn't blow me away like it did everyone else! lol Maybe I'm not actually alone in that thought... =)
Teresa wrote: "I'm reading
which I'm about a third of the way through and really enjoying. Between coming down with a wicked case of strep throat and the kids first day of school..."This one intrigues me, I'm anxious to see what you think when you finish and go on into the series!
Teresa wrote: "I've never read Sherrilyn Kenyon but her books look good. Which one should I start with?"I have a few of her's on my shelves that I grabbed for cheap over the years, they look really good but I just haven't gotten around to them.
Taylor wrote: "will someone please help motivate me to read prince of wolves. I want to read it but I can't get into it really."Oh I adored that series!! It gets really fun as it goes along, the characters are just awesome. I'm a sucker for those paranormally-caused "love at first sight" books though, and I know they're not for everyone. LOL
~Kate~ wrote: "I've finished His Forbidden Princess which was the best of the series but I still felt the ending was rushed.

So
was less than stellar, nothing more than your basic cliche'd beach bum turned good guy romance. Read it a dozen times already!!
To give myself a guaranteed good read I grabbed up
and for some reason it was just good but not great. "Aidan" was almost too far gone for me to like, and it took way too long for him to finally start making it up to Regin. She was one of my absolute fave Valkyries, and she suffered too much for my tastes. =(
On to
for review, crossing fingers it's good!!
Brooke wrote: "DNF'd Forever. I just could not do it. I got 1/2 way. The writing was terrible. The characters were flat. I just could not connect to it. I am still trying to get through [book:Pitchin..."Serious bummer, sorry hon! =/

I have had zero readin..."Hope it's helping, the change up is always good for the reading soul. =) I need a good PNR next!

Sorry I've been MIA, between family visiting, trying to figure out a career path, getting back on the dating wagon, and race training, my spare hours are very few these days. I haven't had much time to read lately, but I did finish
which was really sexy but a bit over the top for my tastes. I loved it, but the idea of him being a priest with the fantasies he was having was hard to believe.
Finished
today, it surprised me and ended up being very good, a little different than the typical contemp romance so it was a nice change!
Next up is
, which I'm reading for review and don't have a lot of high hopes for but we'll see!

Nicole wrote: "Just started
. This is my first Sarah J. Maas book."I liked this one, it was a good change-up for me from the NA I've been reading.
Belkis wrote: "I finished
and liked it a lot, the writing and story were great and looking forward to the next book. Not sure what I'm diving into next since I've got so many options..."I want to read this one, glad you liked it!

Haven't had a lot of reading time lately, but I did finish Keri's new one
and hot damn it was dark and sexy! Really dark, even for her, so be warned!
Currently working on
which caught my attention from the very start and has a tight hold! lol
Brooke wrote: "52% into it and I think I have to give up. Chatting with a friend who finished it and pushed herself to do so."That sucks, especially after getting that far! Sorry, hon!
