Ignite the Shadows seems really intriguing. I'm going to wait until it's a bit cheaper because $10 for an ebook is out of my price range, but I definitely want to check that one out. Sounds like a sci-fi version of Angelfall, which I would love!

I've never read anything by him, this does look like something completely unique. Might give it a try when I need a change-up.

51477 Okay, well I finished Here's to Falling by Christine Zolendz and there are just no words. This book leaves you so completely raw, my heart feels like it's been battered and shredded and it's not even an unhappy ending. Wish I had done a buddy read, this would have been a GREAT one, damn!

51477 Oh my Lord...a little over halfway through Here's to Falling by Christine Zolendz and I'm a sobbing mess, and there's another huge bomb yet to drop. Ugh, if she actually went through this herself I can't even imagine, this is tearing MY heart to shreds.

51477 OH WOW OH WOW!! Christine Zolendz's new release Here's to Falling by Christine Zolendz is on amazon, and I'm bracing myself as I dive in. Her books always get to me, but this is based on true events with (from what I've heard) a very tough-to-bear storyline. I've got my tissues on the ready!!

Oh, and I finished Deep (Stage Dive, #4) by Kylie Scott , perfect cure after Bartol left me a mess. Didn't like it as much as the rest of the series, this one seemed to drag a bit and Ben was a bit too cold for my liking. But still a great read by Scott.

I actually have the audible app, just never bothered to do anything with it! If it's that easy then I'm going to try it out, save myself some eye strain. lol

51477 Okay, I'm not one to wish away the summer and all that, but I finished Sea of Stars (Kricket, #2) by Amy A. Bartol in the wee hours of the morning and OH MY GOD September needs to get here NOW!! WTF?! Amy is trying to give me a heart attack, it's that simple, how can we be expected to wait with that ending? Ugh...just...no. Now I'm in a book coma that I need to shake myself out of.

Think I'm going to fly through Deep (Stage Dive, #4) by Kylie Scott for some smutty distraction.

I really want to try out the audio but I keep putting it off. Do you have to download a program online for the ones off amazon? I haven't even looked into the process, probably why I'm procrastinating. lol

51477 Finished Picture Perfect (Limelight, #2) by Elisabeth Grace today, and it was so good! Totally wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do, great characters and tons of chemistry between the MCs. Highly recommend!

Deep is up soon for me, so happy it lives up to the rest of them!!

Lunar Chronicles is great too, that'll keep your mind occupied. =)

Yeah, I mean it's funny because there are so many of us that loved Twilight and are desperate to find another series that gives that same FEEL, and then authors try and get bashed for being copycats. I felt the same about Hush, Hush; loved it like an obsession but it was completely separate from Twilight for me.

51477 Tasha wrote: "I'm pretty far in Hopeless (Hopeless, #1) by Colleen Hoover and it's unlike anything I expected. I realised it's not great to read on the bus"

LOL GLad you're enjoying, loved that story!

51477 So Untamed 3 Escaped Artist by Victoria Green , Untamed 5 Rebel Roused by Victoria Green , and Untamed 4 Wild at Heart by Jinsey Reese were like a train wreck I couldn't take my eyes off of and not in a good way. The heroine drove me absolutely batty with her complete lack of spine, the storyline got all kinds of unbelievable and convoluted, and honestly the only real relationship between these two characters was a great sex life. I don't appear to be in the majority with that opinion, but I feel like I totally wasted three days of reading! Ugh.

So, it's on to Sea of Stars (Kricket, #2) by Amy A. Bartol which I'm so excited about but hoping doesn't turn into a 5-way love story like the Premonition series, and Picture Perfect (Limelight, #2) by Elisabeth Grace for review.

I really liked the first book, but this one drove me BATTY! I couldn't stand the way it was so repetitive and just the never-ending cycle of her flipping the pages of time trying to figure out why she loved him. I mean, if it was true love she shouldn't have taken THAT long to convince, ya know??!

Absolutely worth the wait, it'll fly by if you read a few smutty books in between! =)

Maybe it's just me, but I swear all of these series everyone says are Twilight knock-offs seem NOTHING like it to me! This series seemed nothing like Twilight and was so completely unique that it was really refreshing IMO. I'm the same as you, I'd read something even if it did remind me of Twilight since I loved that series, but I highly recommend this just because it's a great plot and has unforgettable characters.

Wish I could get my BDB love up and running again. I'm preferring IAD now so going back doesn't appeal to me, but I do want to see the series through.
