Gibson's Alien 3 script has been running around the internet as a text file for a long time. More recently, it was adapted as a 5-issue comic book mini-series by Dark Horse Comics, which was collected in a trade paperback and marketed as a graphic novel, then the script was adapted as an audio drama with voice performances by Michael Biehn (Hicks) and Lance Henriksen (Bishop), and now the script has been novelized by Pat Cadigan. I've read the comics and listened to the audio drama. They aren't the same. The writers have taken slightly different approaches to their adaptations. I'll get a copy of the novelization too because I'm an Aliens junkie.

Jenny put The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham on her TBR very early in her Goodreads career. I've had a copy for years, but it took me a long time to get around to reading it. I understand why it was popular long ago, but it's not something I want to read again. Apparently, there are three film adaptations. Regarding the announcement that "Send to Kindle will be dropping support for sending books to your Kindle in MOBI and AZW".Since Amazon is moving to support EPUB which you will be able to send to your Kindle if the EPUB file is DRM-free, this doesn't seem to be a huge deal.
However, it may matter if you are still using an older Kindle and there may be issues with EPUB compatibility. See https://goodereader.com/blog/kindle/e...

Anyone can make an intro. I use my phone to record and an audio editing app on my desktop to finish up. Some time in the past, Veronica said she prefers WAV format for sound files and length of about 10 seconds.
