Looks like several write ins made the second round though.

My take is this, overall Rebels is better because it's much more tightly plotted. So start to end it's very good.
Clone Wars is a lot more uneven, and aired partially out of order. So there is a lot of bloat.
That said, Ahsoka Tano is my favorite Star Wars character to date, so I like Clone Wars better. I'll take the best Clone Wars episodes over the best Rebels episodes. But some of them are awfully close.

I don't mind that it is weekly episodic stories, with an overarching story arc."
Yeah, I'm not saying you have to want the serial format to enjoy it. The show is very popular. So maybe a lot of people are tired of the serial story and are happy to get the more stand-alone format.
I just feel like I'd enjoy it a lot more if there was more overarching plot.
However after last season I'm better prepared for the general lack of plot. But that means each episode needs to be that much more entertaining for me since it's not likely to be advancing the plot.

Maybe by the end of the season we'll get about 10 minutes of plot development :-D

They have to make them first...

Personal: 43/50 (86% complete)
Sword: 16/15 (107% complete)
Laser: 15/10 (150% complete)
Comics: 6/5 (120% complete)
This month I've added 2 Sword, 2 Laser, 0 Graphic novels and 2 non-SFF books.
That's a huge month for me, but a lot of that is due to stuff I was almost done with in September carrying over to early October.
I also finished my final S&L challenge with an extra book for good measure.
For November I expect a smaller number. Both Ready Player Two (audio) and Rhythm of War (so large it could be used to bludgeon someone hardcover) come out in mid/ late November. I should finish RPT. Possibly the Sanderson book. It's huge but I tend to read them very fast (for me). I doubt it'll take me to December with a November 17th release and Thanksgiving break in the middle.
Beyond that I'll finish another 1-2 audio. Maybe finally finish this non-fiction book on Weird Al I've been stuck on from the library and the volume of the Boys I've been stuck on since a power outage a few months ago.
So a minimum of 2 with a max of 6 again. So I'll guess I'll get like 4. Which would leave me with a manageable 3 books left to read in December to finish my (lowest ever since my first partial year on Goodreads) personal challenge.

I really liked the final 2 books (4 really) of Riyria, but especially Heir of Novron.
I hope you do too!

CBS on the other hand I'm waiting for Discovery season 3 to end before signing up rather than watching week to week. For me most of these services don't have enough content that interest me, so my plan will be to float between them one month at a time.

I'm listening to that right now. I probably won't be done before this is done though. It's not likely I'll enjoy it as much as Battle Ground, but I'm sure it'll be on my top 5 or so for the year.

But either would be a good winner."
Exactly this.

I wrote that in too.
I also created a thread to discuss this: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Please take all thoughts there and let's get this back to Quick Burns.

I wrote in The Relentless Moon and Battle Ground.
I thought the latter was the much stronger of the 2 Dresden books this year but only Peace Talks was on the list.
Oddly Rhythm of War is on the list too. It shouldn't be. I'm sure I'll love it, but it should be next year.
I feel like this happens every year.
