Welcome Rupert.

I had issues for weeks where my wishlists no longer showed up in the dropdown..I had to click into my account page first to see them.
But it seems to have fixed itself

Welcome Cody

I grew up watch Mickey's Christmas Carol, which is now on Disney+ I guess:
https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/mic...I think I'm going to watch it later today now.

Dresden Files -
Storm Front

It's the holidays. Treat yourself.

I will be skipping this one. I'd really love for the February pick to be something low stakes and light.

You don’t get this stuff from regular old fiction."In the documentary film they talk about that a bit. Basically they regret not pushing it further if I remember correctly.
Assuming your opinion of the show picks up as you go along, I'd recommend checking out the documentary. In the before times I went and saw in theaters as a Fathom event.
It looks there are a few streaming options that may or may not be free:

yeah, sorry..I had a reminder for a few hours ago..but got distracted. Thanks Dave.

Congrats guys.

Yeah, the show gets a lot better when Worf joins and the Dominion stuff heats up.
But another things they did well was turn the Ferangi from a bad stereotype/joke into a very interesting race. I love all the stuff with Quark and his family.

I thought the episode was great. Personally I'd have
(view spoiler)[preferred Ezra Bridger over Luke. For the whole fight sequence I was kind of annoyed they never showed his face. After they revealed it to be Luke, I realized why. It was way cheaper that way.
So are they going to either stop telling Grogu's story or maybe move it to animation. Cuz fake/young Mark Hamill just looks creepy. I really wish they'd stop using that. Very uncanny valley.
My other main issue is now you have to work around the established lore. Although the way the did Luke in the sequel trilogy a lot of time passes and Luke is much older than he obviously is here by the time we see him again.
That does leave a lot of room for more story telling. (hide spoiler)]Another thing I loved was:
(view spoiler)[We got more Bo Katan. I thought I read Sasha Banks saying she was one and done on this season, so it was a pleasant surprise when they showed up again.
I liked the confrontation with Boba Fett too.
I don't recall the Darkblade having that whole "Elder wand" premise. So it'll be interesting to see what Bo Katan does now that Mando apparently "owns" the thing. (hide spoiler)]My other big question is:
(view spoiler)[What will Mando do now that he no longer has Baby McGuffin as the glue for "planet/bounty of the week"? Maybe they can just tell some serial plot instead. I know I'd prefer that personally (hide spoiler)]

If like me you've already watched all 3 episodes and want something to hold you over for episode 4, they have an aftershow on YouTube with Wes Chatham and
Ty Franck. It looks like each episode has a guest as well. Episode 1 is the showrunner Naren Shankar

Looks like I just missed the podcast, so we'll see if Tom remembers for the next one, especially with the holidays in between.
I only had 1 person reach out to me, so I'm going to assume these names are good.
You have a few more hours to let me know.
Thanks.
Trike wrote: "I’ve been watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, which I only saw sporadically during its run. Almost done with season 3. Boy, this sure is a badly-written show. They’d clearly never heard the dictum..."I really love the show. I think it gets better as it goes along.

We got a few more donations since my last update bringing our final total to:
$5,745.70!This exceeds our amount from 2019 by $270.00.
This year we had 29 donors, which is 2 more than we had last year. This includes 9 Anonymous donations.
I'm going to be sending the names to Tom to possibly (no promises) read on the next podcast in the next day or two. If you want to change your name, please let me know in this thread (or send me a DM if you prefer).
Thanks again everyone!

We're approaching the end of the fundraiser and you guys have been amazing. We've now exceeded our donations from 2019 by $12. Still some time to get in final donations or encourage your family to join in.
If you need any additional incentive we're just a few dollars behind the /r/fantasy group :-D
Thanks again to everyone whose donated this year. It makes me really proud of our club.

Apparently CPUs are pretty expensive right now too. The new nvidia cards are only a good price if you can pay MSRP, which you can't right now.
Even then I'm not sure if I'll buy one. I typically target around the $200-250 mark for my GPU.

From what I've been reading this is actually a pretty bad time to build a PC because certain components are in very high demand and very low supply, so they are being sold at above MSRP if you can get them at all.
Also if you've gone 12 years without a new PC, you can wait another 6 months to see if prices drop a bit.
That's just my 2c
