4170 Soon is relative. In interviews he's given for the recent Dresden books I think he said he's doing book 2 of Cinderspire next. I think he's finally started writing it at least. Maybe with Covid killing his book tours he'll finish faster.

4170 @Melina, please fix your spoiler tags. It's like you copy pasted them from another spoiler post instead of using the html tags.

4170 I'm a fan of Utz, but not crab. Usually I get their Sour Cream & Onion chips or Cheez balls.

4170 I don't really want to confuse things with an extra poll. There are already 8 polls right now for round 1, and we'll have another 7 polls before we're done.
4170 You're not wrong, but that's not going to stop me from making predictions each round. That's half the fun!

4170 OK.. Turns out Tom did make the polls, but they weren't on the main page so they were buried several pages down.

He's since made them on the main page so they should be easier to find now.

I've updated the links in my original post.

Go forth and vote!

your finalists are the 2 I've read. lol. I will at least be voting for both in the opening round. Not sure if I'll still with both until the end though. It'll depend on the matchups.

As to my own predictions, I think The Priory of the Orange Tree will make a deep run as it was a popular pick on the S&L Discord for an alt pick this month already.

Rivers of London is making it's 3rd attempt (18, 20, 21) at winning it all. It took 3 tries before people took pity on me and voted Theft of Swords the winner in 2019.

This is the second appearance for The Blue Sword (17).

I think the other 14 are all making their first appearance, although some authors have had a different book in past years such as Martha Wells.

I own/have read 2 of the 16. None of the others are currently on my TBR list. I'm sure I'll end up adding a few once I read the descriptions before voting.

There are a couple others I was familiar with, but otherwise a lot of new stuff for me.

There haven't been enough nominations for me to do another roll-up. At this point I'll just do 1 final roll-up after 8pm tonight.

4170 Yeah, I apparently managed to avoid that theory. Or read it and promptly forgot. I had to look things up after the episode because I was like "I suspect this is a big deal, but I don't know who that is".

I only really read Spiderman and a bit of X-Men so pretty much all of the MCU has been new/surprising for me. I kind of prefer it that way.

4170 I wasn't sure I wanted a 4th Bobbiverse book. I thought he left things in a good place with the 3rd, but I did enjoy Heaven's River once it got going (thought it was a bit of a slow start).

Now I'm looking forward to the next one.
