Link to our Group Listopia Bookshelf I have just brought our list up to date. I can't swear that it is perfect. Feel free to scan it and check for errors. There is one error for sure, the Listopia list says we have 293 books, when we actually have 292, at least for a few more days. At the time I worked the list book #265 Denemeler or
The Complete Essays by
Michel de Montaigne is on the Listopia list but is not a group read.

Congrats! looks like challenge 4 and 5 are doing alright as well.

I will be following your short story list. I'm always looking for good stories. Having just finished David Copperfield, The Trial for Murder is going on my list today, thanks.

I'm also doing more than one short story challenge. Pulling stories off your list has helped, thanks. I agree with you on The Story of an Hour, I've read it multiple times.

From two stars to four stars, that's got to feel better. I read
The Ice Palace a few years ago. I only read it because it fit a challenge category, I'm glad I did, I enjoyed the authors writing. The birds maybe another opportunity someday.

Make time, Bob. You will be glad you did. Annette and Terry have j..."I'm convinced, I'll start it this summer. Gentle persuasion is so much better than thumbscrews, thank you!

I've never read anything by Stegner, but I have
Angle of Repose on my shelf. Time, I need more time.

Let the reading begin, enjoy!

Another of your reviews enjoyed, as usual.

Nicely done, I'll hold the trumpets and fanfare for now.

I agree, having read both, The Story of an Hour is the better read. I've read it several times. "Powerful" excellent description
Marilyn wrote: "Ooooo! The Midwich Cuckoos. That's a good one."Yes, Cuckoos is good. I also liked
The Day of the Triffids. Never enough time for science fiction, its nice when it's part of the challenge

Maybe I'll take up skydiving, but since. I don't like he..."Instead of skydiving, I've decided to try another Bingo card. That decision is already causing me heart palpitations.

Sara if you haven't settled on anything for I2 I recommend
A Cry of Angels. It may not be easy to get and that could be a deterrent. If you find it interesting and can secure a copy, I would be interested in your opinion , as I consider it a favorite. I have read it four times and plan on reading it again.

I think I might enjoy Meditations, but The Divine Comedy scares me. I think a trip to the dentist and being told that they were out of Novicain would be easier.

Congrats on finishing the Old and New!

Congratulations!! Must be a record.

Pedro welcome to the group.

Hello Kelly and welcome.

Enjoy your challenge and again welcome
