Manda are you still ok for tomorrow? I pm'd you but got no response and then remembered you don't get PM notices...

I knew the series. I also knew it wasn't 1 or 3. I just couldn't remember if it was 2 or 4.

I'm enjoying the new In Death. The dialog between Eve and Peabody is so funny.

I'm going to read the latest In Death.

I know the series. I'm just not sure which of two books it is.

Well I gave Christina Lauren 3 tries. I did like Lola and Oliver. The other two didn't work for me .

Ok. I will try Christina Lauren . I dislike the titles and the concept (go to Vegas get drunk wake up married) but if everyone is raving about it....

I just finished Carolina Dreaming. Wow.
I think one of the things I like about Kantra is that she doesn't have those "guy is a jerk and then figures it out " moments. These are real adults with real problems but the relationship grows nicely --and when there is a conflict they can each see the others side.
I may have to go back and reread Luke's book too. Another great guy who manages to do the right thing when he is just trying to see his way, because he cares...very like the hero in this book.

Definitely haven't read this

I reread last weeks puzzler--always a pleasure. Next is the new Kantra.

That's funny Janga. I am a huge fan of Templeton's Wed in the West series. I think Welcome Home Cowboy is one of my most reread books. So I liked her being back in familiar territory. I liked Jersey Boys but didn't fall in love with them the same way

OOPS. I thought this was the fourth in the series! I loved Marcus.

I'm reading Karen Templeton's new book. I know I have a couple new releases tomorrow but I have a big meeting to run so...I won't even look to see what they are until tomorrow night. Can't afford the distraction.

I think the big sister's book was my favorite but this was definitely my favorite scene from this book!

It's by Lois McMaster Bujold. She writes science fiction and is a master at it. Her books have rich characters, a recurring theme of medical ethics and a lot of humor and romance. The older ones are maybe not the best place to start since they also have a lot of space war stuff. I tend to suggest people start with mirror dance --although the first two books are also deeply moving and a good place to start.

I spent the weekend reading and rereading Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen. All in all I really liked it but I felt it was inconsistent with earlier parts of the series and those inconsistencies rewrote one of the characters and one of the relationships in past books in ways I didn't like...making that relationship less equal, I guess you could say. Trying hard not to do spoilers...

Charlene we are not that specific about the time of the reveal--but I do like people to have had 48 hours to try to figure it out first.

No problem Priya. If you know the name you can add information that shows you know it ("the hero has to take care of his 17 sisters"). The poster will reveal the name and author Tuesday night to make sure everyone has time to try to figure it out.
It's a great way to learn about books you might want to read.

I just learned that Lois McMaster Bujold's new book is out! So that is my reading for the snowy weekend.
