I'm pretty sure I read this. Can't remember the author or title but I think they are at Janes wedding.

Ok Janga I am jealous.
About to read another Korbel--funny how dated and yet good these rerelease are

I love her Desperate Duchesses series. Warnings --you really need to read it in order since one romance runs through them all--or maybe 1.5. Also A lot of people don't like An Affair Before Christmas but I actually think it's one of her best.

I agree with Janga on Flowers from the Storm.
There are three other authors who have stopped writing whose work is also highly individual and worth checking pit--Jean Ross, Patricia Gaffney and Judith Ivory

Try Barnes and Noble e books too--you can download a free Nook reader on your phone or iPad or computer.

I think I know this one.
Wow Susan your fall sounds awful!

I have been reading the Ivy Series by sarina Bowen--very good especially the first two.

At, I think, Manda's recommendation I am reading Kristen Callahans two young adult books about football players. Really good! I found her other books too dark. But these are good. I am not a football fan nor am I a fan of the hookup culture that so many kids and especially college athletes live with but I find these are both realistic and have a convincing and moving relationship

I really liked Tall Dark and Wicked. Both the hero and heroine were really likeable and not TSTL--which was my frustration with some of the auction house series.

Yes Aly it's time for the big reveal...

Love this book --the last of a great series

This week is Tall Dark and Wicked and Irresistibly yours and All I Want.

Never heard of her . I guess I should check her out.

This week I will start with the last chance Christmas ball and of course Lyon and Olivia.

Leigh Ann, I am not a read it in order person generally but I would definitely read the whole series in order. And I haven't read the last book yet. It will give that book much more depth. Plus every one is spectacular so each is worth it on its own.

Definitely haven't read this!

Thanks Manda and Janga. I will order the contemp...
I like the Fairest Blooms series by Hunter. The relationship among the four heroes is subtle and funny. Her plots can be unbelievable but her depiction of the challenges for women at that time is very well done. I think Lady of Sin is one of her best and like The Romantic a lot but find that series uneven .

It's one of my all time favorites and this scene is a huge part of why. The conflict between hero and heroine is because of a real external problem that is specific to the period and isn't just a lack of communication, immaturity, or alternatively improbable. And both people have good reasons for their position and can see the other ones point of view.
Not many books --of any category--pull that off.
