Apple’s comments from the Reading with Style group.

I have some”notify me” on Libby/Overdrive for Latvia and Lithuania, and I have an okay strike rate of books becoming available, so we will hopefully get a bit closer.

Global reading is a hobby of mine, but more in the “author” from vein, rather than “set in”, so if I can achieve both I am happy.

I try to get 40 countries in a year. Missed out last year, but I think I will get closer this year.

Okay, now have Namibia as well. Going to leave it at that unless I make it through all my tasks.

(And posting my countries so we don't cross over too much and get too many books for one country and neglect another!)

I have books on the way / ready to pick up for Guernsey, Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste. The list isn't easy to find books for, but I am getting what I can!

Thanks both, I was thinking of reading one at least for 10.1, but I am limiting myself to one book per task next season so I can complete a mega.

I guess the one which we have some doubt on could be read for 10.1 😉

I am so glad I could sign up to multiple libraries on Libby. Originally I had a 5 month wait as there was only one copy at one library, then last minute a second library added multiple copies, and Libby very kindly let me know, so I got it straight away. Love the deep search option which will point me to the best library to get the books I need for challenges sooner 😉

It's on the first list, and I only got 30% through this season, so maybe I can finish it next ... I am thinking The Name of the Rose will work from what I have read so far ?

At least this is still planning… I did see that it had two titles, probably should have checked what that meant. The Going Postal is the title of the physical book I have. I will swap it out.

For location, is it 51% setting, or if setting is listed on GR page it qualifies? I am looking at a book that is in Japan and Finland as settings, but obviously can’t be set 51% in both?

Asking more, what is the overriding rule?
