35559 I'm sort of hoping one of the next minis will bring the return of the Bingo sheet. It was so much easier to say "I'll read the book with the pink cover" or "I've got a book with a hedgehog." I'm trying to keep up with looking up all the tasks, but it is time consuming. I feel bad when it takes me so long to get them updated/entered. I've actually got two other books finished, but haven't marked them as read because I haven't had a chance to compare to the monster tasks. Hopefully this weekend!

35559 If JL's wolves don't work, I just put one on the spreadsheet where the MC owned a dog.

Oh my! I think we'll see 100 this week, but no way would I function well if it was 122. Every time we hit 100, I think it's time to move. 🥵

35559 It was 97 the day we went to Disney. Miserably hot. It was still fun, but we would've done more if it had been 10-15 degrees cooler.

35559 Flying home today. I'll try to look at all the stuff I've read and see what categories they fit.

35559 I'm reading this now if we need a yellow cover.

Carrie Soto Is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I have several books going at the moment. I can work on the others and finish this on the plane ride back to reality.

35559 Hello all-- I'm on the beach for much needed R&R. I'm getting a lot of reading done. It's glorious.

Read. Wade into water to cool off. Repeat. 🌊🏖️

Ugh. I'm sorry. Spending money on cars is possibly my least favorite thing to spend money on.

35559 Note: I'm reading the Kindle version of Carrie Soto Is Back. GR keeps switching me to the Hardcover edition. I even tried saving from my laptop. I don't think I've ever had this issue before, but fwiw, I'm reading the 352 page Kindle version.

Hmm...maybe try Inspector Flytrap by Tom Angleberger or A Beginning, a Muddles, and an End by Avi or The Platypus Police Squad series. My boys all liked the Mr. Lemoncello books and the Platypus Police Squad books. They actually wrote emails to Jarrett J. Krosoczka and Chris Grabenstein and eventually heard back from them!

The Bad Guys and Diary of a Wimpy Kid are extremely popular series with kids, but parents don't always love them...lots of name-calling, burp/fart jokes, etc. My own kids liked them, but were older than your son when they read them. So it depends on what you're comfortable with.

I'll try to look around the children's section this week and see if anything else jumps out at me. Good luck!

35559 So if I started a book today and finish it in June, we can still use it but just not for the maze game, is that right?

Probably for the best if I'm involved! 😂 I found the thread for the maze group. I'm honestly just catching up. I'm hoping to be able to help. My reading speed varies so much with my work schedule, but it might work out at some point!

35559 I just finished the busiest of busy times. I'm so relieved.

Added The Fine Art...to my TT shelf. Sorry about that.

I'm a little confused by the maze. It looks like some have already made made progress, but I didn't think it started until June 1. I may have missed something. Actually, there's a very good chance I missed something!

I agree. It's not unlimited. Still a decent deal, IMO but I've been bitten by the access thing with them, too.

35559 I can take the 'O' spell it out for The Match. I've finished it already. O- character Oren Carmichael

Edit: it looks like this has been claimed, but feel free to add it to the spell-it-outs if needed.
