I’m still waiting on my book :( I originally thought this book was a spin-off of Gideon but then realized the authors are different. Are they related?
I like this challenge! No real coordination needed and I have a list of books to read already that I already own or can get on KU. But I’m reading another book first called LOVEMURDER (all one word) by Saul Black. Book #1 was The Killing Lessons.
Book: The 19th Christmas
Author: James Patterson
Pages: 368
Read: 12/01
Sin: Pride
Criteria: Tagged Contemporary
I went ahead and finished my #19 just now because I didn't see anyone say they'd do #18. I am going to be spending the day with my daughter and her two girls and we're going to go see Frozen 2, so I wanted to make sure I got my book in. I don't know about color and if it might fit green or something else because TinEye hasn't worked for me for at least a week. Can anyone check and let me know. For now I'm going to post it under genre, but I'll change it if someone lets me know soon.
Lol no I said I’d read #15 so when I went to my daughter’s I listened coming & going. Then read there & finished when I got home. I wasn’t checking to see but it’s ok. I would’ve read something else but wanted to help our ladder. Thankfully at least it’ll get cover points.
Carmen, I just realized that I can read The 19th Christmas! I’ve read the 1st 18 books in the series. It just came out recently so let me know if you’re definitely doing #16 & #17 and if we have someone’s house can read #18 I’ll do #19.
Well, you’re right like it or not. In my case, one son lives in So Cal 325 miles away) to our south & my other son lives on the border of Oregon & California about the same distance to the north of us. My son in So Cal has 6 kids so it’s hard for him to come up here. My other son would have to deal with snow & storm conditions. In fact, the Grape Vine going to So Cal was closed on Thanksgiving morning around 4:00 AM. And my other son was snowed in but that’s how it goes every year.
That’s a nice day, Carmen. This year was very different for us. My daughter who was going to have dinner at her house got sick at the beginning of the week. Another daughter had plans to go to her sister-in-law’s in the evening (after our early dinner), and my other daughter was stressed from a lot going on including the tires being slashed. I never get Thanksgiving with my sons. So we ended up all going our separate ways this year. Hubby & I ended up going to our son-in-law’s sister’s house too. It was different but nice all the same.
I don't know how to do all the fancy, cool things and post something special, but I want to say HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all of you around the world. I know it's a U.S. holiday but it's all about being thankful for our many blessings, so I hope that you all think about your many blessings today and hug your loved ones (if you're close by) or at least let them know you love them.Have a fantastic day full of love and blessings! :)

I had about a 50% chance and still didn’t get picked. I have the worst luck! But at least Team Jealousy has someone doing the DQ’s. :)
