I'm always staying up too late! Thursdays and Fridays are difficult because my husband is off and (prior to the pandemic) those are our errand and shopping days. But now they are our organizing and house cleaning days, plus watch some "our" TV shows. He has his, I have mine, we have ours. LOL

OHhhhh, I didn't quite understand that one. Okay, that helps a lot then! Thanks.

I love Scythe too and I just finished Thunderhead and loved it as well.

We can finally start reading our books in one hour, 15 minutes! Woo hoo!

Yeah, that makes sense. At first I thought it was an error, but then when I saw the last ones so close together I figured there was a reason. If we read a recommendation, I assume the number we pick doesn't matter or should we put all of the ones that it fits even if they're the same task? So if I read a book recommended by someone in a different team, I'd only put one and not all 8 numbers, right?

35559 Don't know that it matters, but the following are the same on the task list:

Book recommended by someone in a different team
20, 44, 119, 142, 169, 188, 193, 200 (I cant imagine the MODs made that many errors, so there must be a reason?

Book recommended by someone in your team
99, 120, 55

35559 Now I see why I couldn't see anyone's names on the SS. I was clicking on the Team SS from message 2 and that one is blank. When I went to it again this morning and saw that it was blank I thought the captains had removed our books for some reason, so having two different SS's was messing me up. LOL

Today is our start day, right! Woo hoo!! I might not get anything posted until tonight (it's 6:50 AM here) because my husband is off and he want my help doing some more organizing, but I'll do my best. Saturdays and Sundays are my best reading days in general.

I just looked at the countdown clock and we still have 6 hours 45 minutes approximately before we can START reading our books for this challenge. I'm glad I saw that because I almost began a book after midnight my time last night but I was into another book I'd already started, but I fell asleep reading and listening to it. lol I know where I left off because I had my ebook. I fell asleep at 32% and woke up at 48% so now I have to go back. I hate it when that happens! lol

I don't see your name or anyone's name. Do we have another SS somewhere?

I'm not the only one? lol
35559 I volunteer for DQ's for 80 Days. I've already read the book but it was over a year ago, so if that doesn't exclude me I'm voluterring.
35559 Awe, Jenny :) hey girl *waves back*
35559 I read this book in December 2018 and it had a huge impact on me. I just re-read my review and does it ever apply to this day/today/and the nationwide issues we are facing. I think if I re-read it that my original review will stand as is, but I'll add a brief paragraph as to how it impacts me any differently now.

I'm volunteering for the DQ's for Team 80.

Will this BOM be for round 1?

35559 My junior high (middle school) was 7-9 and that was back in 1962-1964. We had green shorts & tops we had to purchase so we were on uniform. We had to shower or get cuts which lowered our grades. Showers were open in a large room but if you were on your period you could go into a private one. We didn’t have to show our naked bodies but teachers were right at the entrance to the shower room and they would check us off. I don’t recall much more than that considering it was so long ago. But I do remember that the boys and the girls were separated as far as PE exercises and back in those days we could still get paddled. I never did get paddled but we often saw boys get paddled on the playground that was on a level higher than us.

35559 Silje, nice job on the SS. Thank you! Now I know who to ask for help on mine! lol (I'm a novice.)

Oh my gosh, I do that all the time! I will even go back and read my own reviews and not remember what I had even written! Sometimes my own reviews remind me but if too much time goes by (and it often does) I lose the continuity of the books meshing together.

35559 I’m wondering how we should go about picking our first book or two. Are we first trying to spell out CELEBRATION? Should we “claim” letters or hold off until we’re finished reading? Do we have a plan?

My library normally allows us 25 books from our local branch as well as 10 from Link+, but if you lose a Link+ books it's $115. Anyway I normally have a ton of books from the library but I had just gotten back from a month in Florida and took all my books back (the head librarian extended all my books while on vacay) so I only got the few that I had already ordered. I've had the books since prior to March 19 when we went on lock down. It's one time I really wish I had my limit of books! But then again I have six bookshelves, 3 really large ones and 3 medium ones and I have a lot I've not read yet. LOL
