I saw Menopause twice! It’s definitely a girls night out kind of fun! You’ll see a few men but it’s definitely designed for a female audience! My daughters all 3 loved it and none were in their menopause yet.

Trinia, I have always loved my time with my kids. I divorced my ex in 1986 & at time had children 16, 14, 11, 9, & 7. I had no car for 1 1/2 years, no fridge for 6 months, & no washer dryer for over a year. I raised them alone for 13 years, went to college via bus, scheduled all my classes while they were in school, and didn’t date at all until my youngest moved out so that was 13 years. Those were tough years but my 3 girls are strong women!! I have 1 son who is a pastor & 1 who is my has has a rough go!!!

My daughter who’ll be 50 in March called me the other night & we talked for an hour. She said, “I just need my mommy.” It was about her 16 year old daughter whose boyfriend she’s “gonna marry” is moving to Texas. Anyway point being they will always need their mommy. My boys not so much lol but they don’t have their dad in their life either.

Once a year I take my daughters to dinner & a live musical like Menopause. If you haven’t been, you have to go! Anyway it’s nonstop talk and we laugh & have a great time without any kids or hubbies. I treasure that time!!!

My grandson Jake is 9 and he NEVER shuts up but it’s all good. He shares all kinds of stuff with me: books (he’s a book lover), school friends, you name it. My older granddaughters are a joy!!! Omg I have to stop here because I could write a book! Lol IF ANY of my grandkids call me & want to go see a movie or go to lunch I drop what I’m doing and go. NOTHING is more important to me.

Audiobooks are super helpful getting some reading done when driving, cleaning, cooking, and (maybe) working. 😂
