Jill, when in January? Do you know the gender? Is it your first? My birthday is January 27 & my granddaughter is due with her 2nd (a girl) on January 25.

I am reading DRY by Neal Shusterman and it has a tricky animal: clown fish. I’m about 60% done and so far it only has dog and sheep but sheep is referring to people. I hope clown 🤡 fish hasn’t been used yet.

Why would anyone do the mini-challenge if there’s no way to earn more points? That doesn’t seem right, like maybe something is missing. Like the animal list gave extra points but 5 vs. 7 or even 5, I don’t see the incentive.

Carmen, I had this for Border Lord, post 132, but wasn't 100% sure it would count. I'm adding it here and when you confirm one way or another, I'll add it or not.

I read Border Lord because it was said to have "moorhen" in it, and it did but I'm not sure it will count. I haven't added it yet because I don't want to mess us up. The female MC is talking to the male MC and this is what follows:

I added the book for brown cover, but I'd like confirmation on whether or not moorhen works here. He is referring to the animal of a moorhen.
