I did enjoy it, but it took me a while to remember the story and the people.

Kind of like you reminding me above about the Bear and the Nightingale!! It’s been five years since I read that… I’m not sure I could get into book 2 without some revision 😬

You got me into that series! I can’t remember what it was but the first book worked for a reading challenge 😆
I read book 3 last year for this challenge and so should get to book 4 soon 😬

I really wanted to read it as I enjoy his writing so much but I am struggling to find time to sit down and dedicate to it. And I’m finding it difficult to engage with - perhaps because I can’t dedicate that block. I’ll finish my current audio and then use a credit for it on audible I think 😬

Urgh. I'm having a shocker with reading any NG books at the moment.

I started 3 months ago! Maybe I need to just bit the bullet and buy it on audio as that seems to be all of my reading these days

I really enjoyed the TV adaptation but I guess it gets to the consequences for baddies faster and isn’t quite as visual / graphic (strangely?)
