I watched the original and loved it (as I did the book). I'm not sure about the US version. I guess I will watch it at some point when it moves to a streaming service... to me the benefit in changing his name to Otto means that I may just be able to watch it believing it is a different story rather than an American version of the same story :o

And ok, sounds like I need to just get into Warbreaker! … I just remembered I own it on audible 🤦‍♀️
Jan 19, 2023 02:17PM

35559 I started on audio and had to go back and listen to a few bits again, and ended up then going to the Kindle version to make sure I was understanding the characters and what was going on. lol!!
Now I'm in chapter 3 it is all making sense and I am enjoying it so far

I *loved* Elantris (Elantris, #1) by Brandon Sanderson

Closely followed by the Mistborn series (although I've only read the first 3 which is it's own trilogy ; haven't started the next ones yet)
The Final Empire (Mistborn, #1) by Brandon Sanderson

His YA Steelheart (The Reckoners, #1) by Brandon Sanderson series is quite fun

I'm pretty sure Melindam got me onto Murderbot. I would never have picked them up otherwise. I quite enjoyed the series!

I feel like we have the same tbr! lol

I'm also about there with Warbreaker. But I do love Sanderson, I just never get into the mood for it.
Pillars of the Earth I absolutely couldn't keep going. haha
Name of the Wind is still on my list, and even on my audible. This is the year!!
And I do enjoy Kate Morton, but that one is not her best
