I hope you all had a nice weekend.
I'm sorry I missed a part of the mini 1 rules (I have bolded below):
"Each team will create their own Book Travel Itinerary of 11 books, each set in a different country, written by an author born in the country, or a nonfiction book where events in the country are the primary subject of the book."
We had two books read on the same date in itinerary one for Iraq so I have had to remove one of them and play some jenga with our itineraries.
This means:
Chava Into Iraq has now been banked. Please keep an eye out for mini 2 tasks and let us know if it fits any of them (the only mini we can used banked books for)
Tina Her feral beasts has now been banked. Please keep an eye out for mini 2 tasks and let us know if it fits any of them
This also means We can now read one more book for Iraq and one more for Fiji for future itineraries

Look at all those lovely people above the line! ;)

I also use it to catch up on a series if it’s been a while between books. So before I start book 4, for example, I’ll ask it to give me an overview of the main points from books 1-3 as a refresher and without any spoilers for book 4

They were for cheeses"
Books used for cheese can also be used for a mini, so just shout out if they could count for a mini also :)

I would count it if she finds it a difficult deadline (I'm assuming so for it to be a plot point in a book ;)

MY MONTHLY RECOMMENDATION (and why):
None of those, actually! haha I would recommend anything narrated by Julian Whelan. This month I read

As long as the colours are on the cover it is all good. If there's more colours, fine as well. (The task is not ONLY red white and blue)
In the captains group we also said that text would be fine to use, even if the colour isn't part of the cover art itself.
As long as the colours are somehow on the cover (and visible to the naked eye... :-p), it's good to be used. No restrictions

Looks like we need a few Cs, Os, and that U may need some planning
