Make sure it is thickly sliced and in a hot pan so you get crispy on the outside and not on the inside. I love it with chilli oil 😋
6 hours and 15 minutes from now until round 2 startsRichard, Kylie and I are all at our max cap
Lisa, you have 2 more max
Elisabeth, one more max
everyone else is safe unless you read a book and hour 😂
New tasks63 Read a book that is an against all odds / survival story
65 Read a book with a famous landmark on the cover
I've found Flesh and Bone and Water from the library for "23 Read a book which has the main location (setting) on the South American continent" which has been hanging around for a while!
Elisabeth wrote: "I’d say world domination is hardest of those options. Does multiple generations mean a family saga type thing or where the characters are from different generations as in, grandparents, children an..."I would see multiple generations as it covers a timeline of multiple generations. So it may explore the lives of grandparents, and then the parents and children across a timeline. Kind of like the Rutherfurd books.
Or in my book we go back thousands of years and it goes through different permentations of the people of the country of Roshar across generations
I finished
and with that the first 5 book arc of the series 🤗 phew
It does work for:
40 Read a book which has several locations, none for over 50% of the book
43 Read a book with a character who desires world domination
and
58 Read a book that covers multiple generations
Not sure what we think is more difficult to read for that I should assign to it?

58 Read a book that covers multiple generations
59 Read a book set in your home state/country
It became too difficult over the years to differentiate as there are some biographies that are factual versus others that read more like a story and used to always cause lots of questions in the captains group. So we just went with a blanket basis that nonfiction doesn't have characters, including memoir/ biogs. Etc

Odium.... you said it better Karen. Fully invested but I also have to read for TT. Conundrums!"
I agree with you around ch75 and I’m not sure that your pondering over the stormfather is that far fetched. (view spoiler)
Elisabeth wrote: "It just occurred to me that the Travelling task in which a character seeks world domination could be a businessman/woman. Eg a fast food giant, a car manufacturer, pharmaceutical, technology person..."No characters in non fiction though
I’m reading a fantasy book which fits this but it is a big one (1300+ pages) so I haven’t claimed the task but will be done in a few days
