I get it!
We decided to remove the book cap for this challenge based on this kind of feedback. Doesn't mean it is gone for good for other future challlenges, but we are back to basics for TTX :)

Are the differences in the quality of the plot lines or in the writing style/character development?

35559 I started with TTII and was on team Leather Jacket Black which was so close to winning! (Did we? I don’t remember 😆😆😆)
I started taking notice of GR after TTI already began. Team challenges weren’t really a thing back then so I sat back and watched what was happening

Yes you should!!!!

Actually I just thought I can pull out another Julia Wheelan narration if we consider her a celebrity? (She is also an actress 😬)

I completely agree they are made to be acted out. When I read them it is by listening to the audiobook so you still have that element of someone interpreting the words, pauses, intontation, pacing etc.
I love that you can listen to multiple versions and get a different experience each time. Same with going to watch the play - always a new experience!

35559 I read The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah which was a finalist for fiction and best female narrator 2022.

Julia Whelan narrates and I love her. She also narrated Educated and Malibu Rising along with a few others I’ve read. I’ve now put books on my list just based on her being the narrator 😆

So 5 stars for the narration and 4 for the book. I loved it and hated it.
Amazing characters and writing but a crappy time in history which made it uncomfortable listening

I had no idea I would be creating so much conversation around SME!

Yes we use it for subject matter expert. SME can also be small medium enterprise but I’ve noticed people using SMB more - small medium business

35559 Maybe we need some SMEs to put it together for next year….

35559 I feel like we talked a lot about a LOTR theme when Tea was a mod and then it lost steam when she had to move on.
Perhaps it will go back into the bag of ideas some day
