If it has been made (i.e. not just rights purchased) even though it hasn't yet been released I'm ok with that

35559 Sounds like we may need to do a Brandon Sanderson buddy read at some time through the challenge!

Welcome Amy! Sounds like you have your plate full. Don't feel pressure to read more than your sign up. We don't want to add any pressure to your life - this should be fun :)

For points you don't need to nominate.
Just if you are going to read a BOM like The Daughter of Doctor Moreau, then head over to the discussion thread and you can volunteer to write some discussion questions (optional) or just join the discussion by responding to at least 3 days of questions. That will gain us additional points :)

Branden Sanderson is great. I'll also throw in a recommendation for Michael J. Sullivan as he has a similar style

35559 Welcome Skye, Cindy, Saar and Nikki! Love the diversity of locations and reading we have in our team.
Looking forward to seeing what everyone reads and getting some new recommendations 😊🙌
35559 Oh and can I cash in some tokens for an extra entry? I forgot to in our last team challenge 😊😬😆😊

I’m up to number 5 in murderbot. Could be a good series to get caught up on for TT!

35559 At this point Jess, just read 😀
We have to make a tower of 223 books each month using a certain number of page counts for that tower. As the month goes on, we will provide updates as to if there are certain page sizes we need to cover.

Otherwise there is a mini running over the whole challenge which was posted today. It is optional but is good for points.

Also if you read for the BOMs and participate in the read that also gets us more points

I’m sure it will make sense as we get started!

I’ll have to compare shelves and see what you’ve enjoyed that I can try 😉
I read We Are the Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson which was great but the sci-fi element was a small part. I also read a few of the Murderbot series and really enjoyed them

35559 Hi Jessica! Welcome to TT. !
Uno was designed to be a bit more relaxed and social , but in saying that, Tower Teams is probably our most relaxed/social challenge at NBRC. We still get some hard core competitors though 😆
35559 And for those playing along at home, this works for MT13 - Shannon read Oct 12 2019 ; and MT16 - Cat read Sept 14, 2018
35559 I've never heard of this either, but it sounds interesting enough. And.. well.. points.

I'll volunteer to write DQs for Team สิบ Sip
