woohoo! I even went into a department store this week and just spent 20 mis looking at decorations and feeling happy. haha
I’m not religious but I do love Christmas! 🎄 Probably helps that it lands in summer here so all my memories are the pool and family and fun.I also have
to read which just got picked for my book club 🤭
I don’t think I’ll finish another this round but I’ve already read one over my sign up (but not to cap) as it was such a short one. I’m in a longer one atm and will see what our next word is before deciding on the book I will read after this

Yikes! Glad you got back in time!
It was just a case of mistaken shelf-identity. 😉..."I've now also used my mod powers to edit your name to Claire B in the thread links so I won't do it again 😁
I finished
I’ve loved all of TJRs books but this was my least favourite of hers. Still an easy enough read and interesting setting but there was something about it I never quite connected with
Youngest child seems to be back to normal, still a few more days of antibiotics to go so hopefully he will stay well.Still watching the eldest. He is very congested but no fever. Will keep him home from school tomorrow and if still no fever / rash he will go back on Tuesday 🤞

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. Naturally my eldest woke up this morning with a fever and red cheeks but at least we now know what it is!!! Both off to the doctor in about an hour

I hope you had a great night! It seems the prediction of this horrible storm was overblown.
Oh and an update on my son.. Get out your whale bone corset! Dr just called and he has scarlet fever! Didn’t even know that still existed 😬🤭
We will see the GP tomorrow to get some more antibiotics and find out from her when he is ok to go back to school. At the moment we need to keep monitoring him for fever and rash.
Nice - enjoy Elisabeth!I’m also in the city tonight at a black tie dinner and event. There is meant to be a huge storm this afternoon so I need to try and stay dry in my gold sparkly shoes running from the metro to the ballroom 😬🤭

In Australia it seems to be you can get two books for $1.99 each. 😔 I have been using prime reads to get some free books and actually they haven’t been half bad

Thanks - version history has it as two hours before you posted this so probably not you ;) I have fixed it, I think
Thanks!Dr said she will release him with oral antibiotics while they wait on the last blood culture (as that takes 48 hours) and if that is positive he will need IV antibiotics for 7 days. Otherwise he can stay on oral antibiotics and get a few more days off school.
But we have been waiting over 4 hours now to be discharged. Blerg.
