I can read that. I read the rest of the series. I'll see what other short options I have.

35559 Finally finished How to Fight a Dragon's Fury and posted it. This week got really crazy for me so I haven't gotten as much reading done as I would like but I'm hoping to get at least one more in.

I don't think we'll get full on any genres because of all the new hits, but we do only have one hit for science fiction. So if you read something that works for science fiction, and you know you won't read anything else that fits that genre, let us know.

We should be getting the Olympics rules pretty soon, so we'll already have a plan in place by the time you go to the wedding (hopefully!). So you can just have fun and read during the unimportant parts. :) "

Clean Sweep is done and posted! I read it last year and listened to it this time. My favorite part is always:
(view spoiler)

I'm not sure if there will be any unimportant times, since even if I'm not doing something specific I assume I'll have to socialize. Ugh, people :P

I am busy Thursday and Friday evening, but I should have time during the day to check in and hopefully get an idea of what the mods have in store for us next.

35559 Great job captains & co-captains!!! I'm listening to Clean Sweep and will finish today which can be used for one of the paranormal goals.

Let us know if we are getting "full" on a genre.

Also, I think I mentioned this before, but I'm in a wedding on Saturday. I will check in here in the morning, but I likely will not be able to fully participate until sometime on Sunday.

35559 Actually you guys are way ahead of me as I checked the unused book list and it's already in there as well as other options we may get.

35559 I forgot to say that The Winner's Crime is also shelved as Romance >10 times. I edited my submittal post. I don't think we had that as option when I initially had it and I forgot to add it in. I think I already have a book for our romance hit, but I'm anticipating us getting many more hits tomorrow and there may be more.

35559 State of Fear and Winner's Crime were finished and posted. It looks like they haven't been used so I'm guessing we are waiting until we have all our tasks to figure out what should fit where to make sure we max our points? Which I agree with.

For this next week I have The City of Mirrors (Fantasy, Paranormal), The Rose & the Dagger (Fantasy, YA, Romance, Paranormal), and The Girl with All the Gifts (YA, Fantasy, Paranormal, Mystery, Contemporary) from the library and am hoping to get through all of them. I think I will also listen to Clean Sweep as an audiobook (Fantasy, Paranormal, Mystery, Romance, YA, Contemporary).

Hopefully all of those books should find good homes taking down ships :) Oh and I read them all :)

35559 Here's where I am. I'm working on State of Fear (Mystery, Scifi, Contemporary) and hope to finish tomorrow. I just started Beauty (YA, Romance, Fantasy, Paranormal, Contemporary, Classics) as an audiobook and hope to finish today. Then The Winner's Crime (YA, Mystery, Fantasy). After that I'll see where we need options.

Agreed. I also read the prequel novellas first. I think I should have read them after. It doesn't ruin it, but I think it makes more sense to read them after if you choose to.

How did Illuminae work as an audiobook. The book had a lot of visual elements.

35559 Marrying Winterborne is done! I had really been looking forward to it and couldn't really put it down. I'm not sure which of my other two planned ones I will go with, but I'll leave it to the captain/co-captains to figure out where it should go :)
