Also I said in 1197 that I would read The Rose & the Dagger for event 2. It fits for the same spot as the Girl with all the gifts. Girl is not due back for another two weeks so I can hold onto it for a bonus round.

Can we not slot books for bonuses until the the event or all the events are finished? Unfortunately it's due back to the library Tuesday and I can't renew it. It can be banked for spell out then. Hopefully page numbers will be used so we don't totally lose that.

I'm also planning on reading The City of Mirrors (598 pages) which can be used for a page jumping bonus or discus bonus and The Girl With All the Gifts (403 pages) which can work for an arm book or long distance (401-500 pages) or a page jumping bonus book.

It looks like the 401-450 slot for heat 2 of page jumping is open so I will claim that with The Rose & the Dagger which I should be able to read tomorrow. 416 pages.

It looks like I am slotted in for my dragon chariot book so I will set for my three required.

Got it, no hockey! I'll see what I can find. Sprints are the only event that has to be completed in a certain order correct? Every other task can be read for at any time.

Memory of After is finished and posted. I'm heading to dinner soon but when I get back I'll search out what books I can read for the various tasks.

I can do the sprint either day this weekend. I can also push it to next weekend if needed, but I won't have time during the week. I'd also be able to do a shorter one, but it looks like we have enough volunteers :)

Would hockey count for a coach book? I saw it can't just be a random fight, but there's a lot of fighting in hockey.

Before I start, just for the other two required events. I can probably find any ideas for the page jumping. Just slot me in wherever. For chariot, I can definitely do a creature (The Heart of Myrial. I can probably find a knife/dagger book and color as well.

I think someone mentioned me doing a sprint. I know that's a thing here but I haven't participated. The six hour one is just reading for six hours straight and no more than two books? Is that how it works? I can take the six hour spot and possibly some of the others. I should have time next weekend. I think I saw the books I read can be used for other Olympics tasks. If they aren't would they be banked for the spellout challenge?

You all are doing great! I'm so sorry I haven't been able to help but after Sunday afternoon I should be back and ready to read. Laura messages me saying a lady book could be fit into heat one and I could read Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage. I don't know if that's still true.

I think I can get through Night of Cake & Puppets in the minding before I have to do wedding stuff. Let me know if you want.
