No zombies in Shadow Scale and I agree with Phillippa's assessment of Return of the King.

I don't have any zombie books I'm planning on reading at the moment but in the past I've read Warm Bodies and Feed series and enjoyed both.

Amazon has a look inside feature and I found the following on page 103 of the paperback:

She did a signing near me a few years ago so I got Cinder and Scarlet signed :)

Oh and I did finally manage to start my November book on Tuesday, got busy yesterday but will try finish today.

Yup! The entire series is definitely one of the better YA series. I will say that Cinder is a bit predictable, and while I enjoyed Scarlet, not a lot happens. But Cress and Winter were both fantastic and fun to read. Marissa Meyer is firmly on my auto read list :) And she used to write Sailor Moon fanfiction.

I was already planning on reading today so that would work.

My library had The Monk and the Riddle: The Education of a Silicon Valley Entrepreneur so I put it on hold in case we need it.

Winter is finished so that takes care of the fruit goal. I have a book to read and then I should be able to tackle another November publish date. I have two other books that were published this month I just haven't gotten to them.

Also Pretty Girls is at the library so I'll be starting that at some point.

My cousin's husband randomly gave it to me (so it would also fit the free goal). I needed a russian book for another challenge and it fit perfectly.

I have it requested from the library, but it's a popular book. I think I should get it before a month is up.

Hero is done so superpowers can be checked off. I'm reading Night Watch but I dont think it counts for anything at the moment. Career of Evil will be after that.
