I’m apart of 5 team challenges right now and quite a few individual challenges mainly in this group. I think I’ve joined too many. Ah well

I’d rather not do a setting this stop. I’d prefer the detour or Spell it out. I can skip the stop if everyone is set on doing the author or setting

OH MY GOD I'm in St Kilda East too!!! No one I meet is ever from St Kilda East! I'm a few minute walk to Alma Park. you might be my new favourite person on Goodreads Chava! Haha

I haven't actually watched any of the Nightmare before Christmas but I think I'm going to for this challenge.
I've added a few books into the spreadsheet but I'd be happy to read whatever is needed

We could also have this week to figure out our stop 4 books and start reading them by Sunday, officially.
So, from now until then, read your Spain book if you haven't already and choose your next book. And refer to Diane's ideas if you're struggling.
Does that sound okay? We are doing the detour as well

So, Spain extended to the 30th?

1. This is my first Jay Kristoff book that I've read. How you read any of his other books and did you like them? Any other thoughts on him as a writer?
2. I was reading through some reviews by the community and quite a few have struggled with Kristoff's writing style in this book. What are your thoughts on it? Does it bother or bore you?
3. What are your initial thoughts on Mia and her abilities, the horses, Tric and Naev?
4. This book has footnotes in it at the end of the book. Have you been referring to them whilst reading or ignoring them (like me)? Are they useful and needed? Do you think it's a good idea or is it distracting and a waste?

I did find Sunset over the Cherry Orchard that's set in Spain! Yippee!
Okay, is everyone okay to read Spain-related book? If so, we can depart 22 September, yes?

Ashley and Vicki could also do the same as me

Yes Vicky
I can't find any books to do with Spain.
I've found tomatoes in a book though
I added a little table-like thing in the spreadsheet in the Spain tab to help us decide what to read.
I've added 'Yes' to people who have found a book or can read a book related to Spain, Spell-it-out or for the detour (tomato). But, I haven't added in everyone's preferences...
We get more points with detours so I'm thinking we should try for that.
But, if that's unsuccessful then we can go with the next popular option.

I've enjoyed every part of this challenge immensely as HP is close to my heart and enjoyed chatting with you all and reading what you've all had to say.
I certainly look forward to seeing you all in other challenges! :P
