I haven't had much luck with BOM this year. The books that win, I haven't been able to get a copy of. Maybe for November/December, we can choose a book that majority of us have or can get, nominate it, vote for it and then read for it?
There's also the backroom we can coordinate for.

There is an E! In "the"

Don't know how I missed out n that *facepalms*
but it makes sense why it was pink - because we didn't fill it in
Emma... I just realised that for you Countdown #9 book, there's no E in your title! That's why it's highlighted pinkWe can't read an extra book can we?

Would grass work for being prickly?
Sitting/lying on grass is prickly to me. Especially if you're wearing shorts/skirt/dress
Also, would you guys think that grass is prickly? If you lie on it, I think it is. I can put it for book 10 in the countdown
Lisa - (Aussie Girl) wrote: "Sounds good Tina, I'd much rather do SZ2 than 1. Thanks for the number crunching."Hang on Lisa, I just edited the numbers! It should be correct now!
We can do other words for SZ3 but on/in seems to be a good choice
so, I think we should do Option 1SZ1
5 books
5 letters: 150 points + 80 bonus points = 230 points
SZ2
4 books
200 points
SZ3
a (30 p) & i (40 p)
x3 on (80 points) & x1 in (80 p)
who (110 p) & not (110 p)
with (140 p) & only (160 p)
cover (170 p) & author (210 p)
OPTIONS
1. SZ1 + SZ2 = 430 with 9 books. Then SZ3 with 'i' (40 p) for 10 books. TOTAL 470
2. SZ2 + SZ3 = 440 (if we do x3 in/on). TOTAL 440
3. SZ3 + SZ1 = 160 (on/in) + 40 (i) + 230 . TOTAL 430
Hey all!Super excited to play tower teams again. I started last year with the HP one. 🦡
I’m from Melbourne Australia so I might be responding to you guys at opposite times to you. :P
I’m working part time and studying part one at uni doing a Master of Public Heath.
Other than reading, I’m into gardening. Spring has just started so I’ve just planted some new flowers, herbs and vegetables. Hopefully I can keep them alive though. And like always, I must mention that I have a rabbit named Athena and a dog named Jessie.
Thank you Sammy! (:My SZ2 book should be done by Wednesday. Hopefully that will be enough time for you SZ 3 books

All linked up Emma!
Thanks Lisa and Emma ❤ It wasn't easy but I feel better now. I was shaking with nerves when I told him but he was okay about it, which is good. I gave them about 3-4 weeks before I finish up there so I think I'm being very generous to them

Agh I know! I feel like this is one of the harder team challenges to find books for in NBRC just because of SZ2! Grr
But other than that I am enjoying it. I definitely agree that it's for the die hards
I think for round 4, SZ 2, we're going to have brown covers as our choices. In the team status SS, you can see that round 4 is highlighted brown. So I'm going to look out for brown cover and brown writing on pages whilst finding my last book for round 3I'm really starting to dislike brown covers lol
So I ended up quitting my job this week so that's why my books are going to be finished so late. I had enough of working there and apparently you could see it. I thought I was hiding that fact wellDoesn't help that I couldn't get into Tea & Comfort. I felt that they way she wrote the character's voices just didn't match their age. I'm nearly done with my last two my books though. They are written better
